bathroom renovations

It was extremely helpful, excellent service and good insight into the renovation procedures. The builders came on time and were extremely punctual, helpful. It was very reasonably priced as well which helped a lot and they were very flexible with their time

Home appliances

Were purchaced 5 home appliances ( top of the line): Fridge, Dishwasher machine, Washer machine, Dryer, Microwave, kitchen stove in 2007. After only one year 4 of these appliances were broken and went through repair. Warranty service was not efficient and prompt. On the second year two more appliances were in need of repair but warranty was expired and repair of dryer cost $900 plus labor!!!

Washer Repair

I called Whirlpool because my washer wasn't working properly. I was able to get a repair man in the next day which was great. We had to wait several days for the part to come in which was fine. The problem we encountered was when the part arrived. The box was labelled with the correct part however when the box was opened, it was a different part so we had to wait another 3 weeks. I definitely was not impressed.

Oven breakdown

My oven has a feature called "Sabbath Mode" - I am not even sure how it got triggered but it chimes randomly and then locks the oven - I cannot cook. This was about Christmas time and I was hosting the Christmas Eve and New Years!!! One call, a friendly gentleman came and assessed the situation. He came back 3 times to get my oven going but each time was necessary - at least I believe him. Whirlpool had good customer services over the phone and they have good repair people on board.

Purchase Kitchen Appliances

My Kitchen Aid Appliances, stove, dishwasher and refrigerator was delivered to my new home in December 2003. Within 6 months of the purchase I noticed yellow streaks on the inside of the stainless steel refrigerator. When this was reported to Kitchen Aid, they dispatched a service man to inspect the product.I was instructed to use household cleaner to remove the spots. When this did not work,Kitchen Aid was contacted again and another serviceman came over to investigate. The serviceman ruled the problem was factory related. I was nearing the end of the 1 year warranty but my worries were unfounded because Kitchen Aid agreed to replace the fridge with a newer model since the model I originally purchased was discontinued. I now have an upgraded fridge with an icemaker that has more features than the origianl one purchased, thanks to the excellent customer service from Whirlpool.

Refrigerator

We purchased a Maytag Fridge about 2 years ago. Maytag is suppose to be reliable, however after 2 years the compressor gave out. Even though we had a 5 year warranty on parts, when we called, we had to wait 2 months for a technician and then even though the refrigerant had to be drained for the compressor to be installed, we had to pay for this as well.
Maytag sure didn't deliver on it partsand labour warranty and the customer service line was rude and unhelpful!
Isn't anything reliable anymore? I thought the customer was always right!
