Wait's Bathroom Plus Ltd

Ordered some bathroom fixtures that were to be delivered in 1-2 weeks. When we did not hear back after 2 weeks we attempted to contact them by phone and e-mail with no response to any of our requests. We eventually had to go back to the store twice and settled on a refund as we were 4 weeks in with no news on when the product would be delivered. This ended up delaying our entire bathroom renovation. This has to be one of the most unreliable and unprofessional companies we have ever dealt with. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away from this place.

At the beginning of April we ordered two faucets and two shower heads. We were told that they would arrive in 2-4 weeks. After 5 weeks and no phone call I called the store and asked when our order would arrive. The lady, Karen, told me she would have to look into it and call me back. A week later I had not heard so I called back again. She told me that the order was delayed but should arrive in a week. A week later and I still had not heard back. I went into the store and spoke with the owner (who is VERY unprofessional) and he told me he would deliver the items on Monday morning directly to our workplace. This did not happen. I called again and Karen said she would call me back. On Tuesday I told them I wanted my money back and would find the product elsewhere. They promised once again that they would have it the next day. They still did not have the product. I found the product elsewhere and called to store to tell them I was on my way in to get a refund. Karen said to come in. Upon my arrival Karen told me she could not authorize a refund, she called the owner and he said he would be in the store in an hour. I said I would wait. After 1.5 hours he had still not shown up so I spoke to him on the phone and told him I was leaving and I wanted my money back. He said he would not give me my money back but he would deliver the items directly to my home and he would give me a 10% discount. He delivered 2 out of 4 items. I was told the other two items would arrive the next day - they did not. I finally received all of my prepaid items seven weeks after they were ordered. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone.

All the contractors that came thru were friendly and did a good job. They even gave us daily updates. However, the guy in charge is a different story! The only way to get a hold of him is by email, which he doesn't reply to. Reno started on April 19/15 and it's still not done on May 22/15! There is like a day of work left and a full garbage bin on my driveway, all of which we were told would be done last Monday. I wouldn't recommend Wait's to anyone, but I would work with their contractors again.

The renovation was started March 25, 2014 as promised. Generally, the quality of workmanship reflects the dollars spent. Final payment was put through on VISA several weeks ago and although the job is 99% complete on June 7, 2014 the grout and caulking are not complete. Wait's inability to communicate effectively and get this done prevents me from recommending them to others.

The previous owner of our house had done a full bathroom reno. It was horrible and the tub kept leaking resulting in a major hole in our kitchen ceiling. Although I have lots of skills as a handyman, I didn't have the time to do a complete reno. We had several estimates and decided on Wait's due to their reputation. They did NOT vent the bathroom properly (even though I spoke to Al as the venting was being "done") and when we ended up with an attic full of mold, they refused to rectify the situation and adopted a most adversarial attitude. I would never recommend this company at all.

Project began May 29,2006. During this process I suffered through a flood in my living room ceiling due to an improperly installed bathtub drainage system.All this two weeks before my son's wedding. Wait's was aware of my time line. In fact, I had asked that the project not be started if they could not guarantee its completion before the wedding.
My main complaint is that they continued to send in the inept workman who had caused this debacle and I felt obliged to accept him due to the impending wedding and arrival of wedding guests.
Also no apologies were forthcoming nor offers to assist in cleaning my home after the extensive repairs needed to repair the ceiling which caused a fine dust through out my lower level.Now I must admit to being informed that Wait's Bathroom Plus had been apparently unable to make any profit due to the fact that they had had to repair my ceiling!!!!!!
I had hired this company based on their excellent reputation and I felt that the cost was appropriate given this reputation. I was very disappointed in some of the workmanship.
As of today July 6th,I continue to await replacement of cupboard doors,damaged during the installation and modification of a sloppy threshold and tile junction.
One bright light I met an extremely competent independent painter who had been enlisted to repair my ceiling.He did an excellent job.In closing I will definitely recommend Wait's should you need a new ceiling!
