This demand is based on the law of Ontario Consumer Act 2002
We purchased a Samsung refrigerator # Rf260BEAASR at a cost of $1498 + tax + $48 delivery. It was delivered on date of Nov 5, 2013 but it is malfunctioning. We, the purchaser launched complaints to the above-mentioned office on Nov 5, Nov 6, Nov 7, Nov 8, Nov 11 and Nov 12. All told, it is six consecutive days of complaints. A serviceman showed up on Nov 7 and determined that the fridge malfunction because it is missing vital components. Therefore he couldn't repair it, then left.
As per Ontario's Consumer Protection Act 2002 we demand the refund of our money.
As per law, the RETAILER is liable to a purchaser for a defective product and refund the money regardless what the retailer contract read and signed.
If the merchandize is paid, the business has to take back the goods either picking them up or paying for the cost of sending them back.

Daren acknowledged the receipt of the email and read this letter, but refused to sign it. Which was OK with me because I had Wayne with me to witness the delivery of this letter.

Heard about this independent place from a friend of mine so I thought might as well try to support the little guy. Showroom in markham was jam packed (a little too jammed if you ask me) with floor models. I inquired about dishwashers and was fully educated and eventually led to a GE dishwasher which looked nice and fit the bill. Salespeople were very understanding and helpful but I think there were only two available. To cut a long story short, I went home to talk to the wife about it and do a bit more research. Two weeks later I went ahead with the purchase. I picked it up and installed it myself. Haven't had any problems with it and most importantly the wifey is happy!

Went here looking for a dishwasher. Great service with the sales person going over a brief overview of each of their dishwashers. Large amount of stock, and they would order if they didn't have the one you were looking for. Ultmately bought a bosch. Had a good price with no haggling.

We were in the market for a new washer as our old one was on it's last legs. We went to Quan in Oshawa as they had a great deal on a Bosch washer. The price was much better than any other company. Darren explained the features as this was very different from our old machine. The delivery was excellent came when they stated. Delivery men first came in to see where it was going, unpacked outside and cleaned up the packing. They brought it in made sure that it was level, connected up the hoses, showed us how to operate, They made sure machine was set up properly before leaving. I will be back as a customer as my overall experience was excellent and will recommend to friends who are in the market for appliances.

When our washing machine broke down, we decided it was time to purchase a new washer and dryer set. We shopped around to all the big box stores, some online stores, and even some scratch and dent places. Our dryer is gas so we were limited on what was out there and the sales that the big box stores had 'never' had an option for a gas dryer. My wife wanted a large capacity front load and we decided that Whirlpool or Maytag would fit our requirements. We further decided on the Whirlpool as it was on sale.
After searching high and low, I decided to pay Quan's in Concord a visit..after all this is where we purchased our original appliances. Darren took care of use very well and was able to rush us the appliances.
They were offering a 5 year parts and labour warranty as part of their sale and their prices were really good.

We were in the market for kitchen appliances and purchased a Bosch dishwasher manufactured in Germany.

Gladys was our sales rep and a pleasure to deal with. She was very informative and provided valuable advice for making our purchase.

At the Markham location their product lines seem to focus on the typical appliances found in other stores. Prices were comparable or cheaper than the big box stores.

This company did not deliver when promised. When the stove finally arrived, they refused to take it to the kitchen and left it in the hallway. They would not answer phone calls regarding this complaint.

We bought a washer from Quan's in 2008 when our old one failed and flooded our basement.

We did some shopping around and Quan's had the best price on the Whirlpool Duet Sport model. Service was okay; knowledge level was sufficient but not extensive. Offered an extended warranty but didn't really hard sell us.

Delivery was on time with no problems; the delivery guys hooked it up and took away the old washer. The machine worked fine with no problems - there was no opportunity to follow up on any warranty service as some of the other reviewers here have talked about so I cannot comment on it.

We needed a replacement dryer recently and the only reason I didn't buy at Quan's is that I found a much cheaper floor model at big box store.

Ordered a dishwasher, received it in March. Went to install it in June. Opened it, it was damaged. called company, had to call Direct Energy for service. they said it was damaged, Direct energy had to call company to replace. called direct energy two weeks later, was told that the company had to call them. made several calls to company, call manufacuture of product, they called, no action. Called several more time. It is now October and no diswasher yet. they promised delivery next Wednsday but no confirmation yet. blaming manufacturer.
