Sagging 20X24 cedar garage on a fieldstone foundation was lifted and levelled. Bulging walls were straightened out and the rotting bottom plate was replaced. A new concrete curb was poured around perimeter to support and level the garage. Bolted to the curb and rebar anchored deep into the fieldstone foundation. Doug gave me a remarkably fair price for the RESTORATION and Mike and his crew did a wonderful job saving and giving new life to an otherwise sturdy structure worth restoring. I highly recommend Quality Restoration!

Quality Restorations has completed several projects on an historic church in downtown Toronto. Deteriorating stonework was repaired and replaced on three sides of the building and the entire drainage system, eve troughs and downspouts, was replaced. The work came in on budget with great attention to detail and to the historic aspects of the building. The work looks great and should last for another hundred years!

Quality did a range of projects for me this summer: embedding an existing stone walkway onto concrete, waterproofing part of a seventy year old basement, including removing a great deal of superfluous concrete abutting the house, and demolishing a small concrete block and wood house, then back-filling the site, grading and laying sod.
Throughout, their communication and work were excellent. Their attitude is professional and dependable and I would certainly hire them again.

We were very impressed by the quality of work and the professionalism exhibited by Doug, Mike and Tristan of Quality Restorations and Renovations.

Our situation was this - our existing backyard's 16x12 elevated deck and stairs were in rough shape, and we had hoped we could get by with a simple resurfacing. W e first spoke with Doug, who shortly thereafter arranged for Mike to come by to examine the project. Mike clearly advised us that the supporting structures were in poor condition and that we were looking at a rebuild. He explained everything so that we understood why resurfacing would not work for our deck.

Mike and his son Tristan are highly skilled and very personable, and worked long and hard in the hottest days of the summer. Moreover, we are extremely impressed with their workmanship and our new deck is strong, superbly built and exactly as we had wanted. We highly recommend this company. We will be certain to employ their expertise again when we undertake future projects.

I recently engaged Quality Restorations Co. to do the replacement of spalled bricks on my home which, though a relatively small job, was front and centre on the approach to my home. It was essential that the type, colour and construction of the brickwork matched the original as closely as possible.

From quotation to completion of the project I became comfortable interfacing with Doug Pearse of Quality Restorations head office, who dealt with the management of my concerns of potential problems. Doug was re-assuring as he responded to my various concerns in a calm, responsible and effective manner throughout the project.

The brick mason, Nick Johnson, completed the restoration of the brickwork local to my garage and front steps and made an excellent job of it. Nick's work is thorough, neat, tidy and well organised. Before leaving he also thoroughly cleaned up his work area and disposed of garbage. He also took the trouble to discuss any technical concerns that I had, which was much appreciated.

I would be happy to re-engage Quality Restorations Co. on future restorative work.

The team for Quality restoration did a great job, they provided a budget, stayed within it and completed the job in a professional manner. They even worked Saturday to get the job done!

This past week Thursday, a 2 man crew from Quality Restorations replaced 4 brick window sills on my 2nd floor and also replaced several bricks on my garage facing. The work was expertly completed and the site left spotlessly clean. Thanks Doug and crew!

Had crumbling bricks at the top of my building's front wall. Doug gave me an estimate for the work but because of financial circumstances, I was not able to hire him right away. He was patient and ckecked in with me over the next 10 months. When it was OK to start with the job, the price was pretty close to the original estimate ( fair allowance for market price of materials). Doug handled the permit application, the hydro line subcontractor and dealing with my tenants. A real professional. His men were efficient and professional too. Doug kept me updated on the work progress so I never felt uninformed. When it was all done, the rebuilt section of wall matched the rest of the older bricks exactly, especially since they did a great job of cleaning them. Now my building looks amazing, and decades younger. Great work, excellent customer service. Definitely would recommend Doug and his crew.

It was a pleasure working with Quality Restorations. The company was hired to repair the corner masonry and to tuck point various areas around the house. Both Doug and Shane were very professional and took the time to address any questions I had. It was quite evident both of them care deeply about the quality of their work and their clients. As a fairly new homeowner, it is important to me to find reliable companies to work with. From my experience, Quality Restorations will definitely be one I would hire again for future jobs.

I needed to replace the existing metal cap on a parapet brick wall (coping), which involved removing the existing wood and membrane under the metal cap and covering bricks with a proper membrane, installing wood on top and covering wood with a proper membrane and then installing a metal cap on top. I had a number of estimates and promises to start work from different contactors. And noone actually showed up, often just coming up with some silly excuses or trying to upsell me on more work. My only regret that I have not contacted Quality Restorations sooner. Doug, from Quality Restorations, provided me with the estimate almost right after I contacted him. Agreed to all the specifications I provided for the project and indicated some missing details. He provided me with a reasonable estimate and exactly when the work will start. The work started on the day when Doug promised and was completed within 2 days. They even removed railings which were initially on top and neatly placed them on the side of the house, as I have requested. The job site was clean and the completed job was very neat, including covering all the gaps with the professional caulking matching the colour to the bricks (as I have requested). I just can't say enough about how satisfied I was with the overall job and experience dealing with the Quality Restorations.
