We had a great experience. Roy was recommended to us by a handyman and several real estate agents confirmed a good track record. We had old floors with hardwood, laminate and broadloom removed and new subfloor placed and the work was done professionally and on time. There was a lot of dust at the end but I suspect this is normal for this type of work. We were so happy with the results we will do the first floor with Invision next year.

We have been incredibly pleased with the hardwood floor installed by Invision at our house. Working with Dov was a good experience and since the first day at their showroom we could tell from the outset that we were in the hands of a person that takes pride in his work.
The team was very responsible, trustworthy and efficient. Both the installers and the painters were completely professional and our house looks stunning. I have to also mention the cleanliness of the crew. They left the house pristine with no trace of loose sawdust, which is rare in any contractor.

Dov and Roy from Invision did a great job helping us match new hardwood to some existing flooring. We have an older home in Toronto without a finished basement. Roy was a good salesman and told us what we wanted to hear but things didn’t turn out exactly as we thought. We contracted to have the old flooring and broadloom removed and new hardwood floors installed.
He told us that there would not be any dust or very little and that we didn’t need to cover anything, including the rug on the stairs. I did put drop sheets over the bookcases and doorways.
The workmen ripped up the old floor and the dirt went through the subfloor down to the basement! Everything was covered in more than ½ inch of dirt. Some things were so dirty I just throw them out. My husband told the workmen and they did spend 1½ hours cleaning the floors but it took me 2 plus days to do the rest. The walls on the first floor need to be washed twice and the stair rug 3 times.
Yes the floor is lovely and the workmen did a lovely job fitting around the rads and corners but I would suggest you cover EVERYTHING in plastic or move it out before getting a new floor.

A few months back I needed to replace my flooring that was installed with a number of issues by a friend a couple of years ago. I researched a number of places throughout the GTA and found that Invision had what I was looking for. Not only did they have the a good selection of products but they were friendly, came by free of charge to provide a complimentary quote, explained the deficiency with my previous floor, were competitively priced and didn’t use any pressure tactics. On top of that, the installation was preformed ahead of schedule, something I’ve never experienced before. Afterwards Roy personally came by to see the finished product. We met Roy at the Home Show. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We felt comfortable with him, and his price was very competitive. He was patient and helpful in guiding us to a choice of hardwood for our main floor. It looks amazing! We are having him refinish our stairs next.

We were replacing about 1000sq ft of hardwood and were looking for a contractor to install it. We wanted to make sure it was done right so we went to Homestars looking for companies with good reviews. I ended up speaking with Roy who took me through the whole process, had very competitive pricing and simply made us feel very comfortable. Roy is very detailed, as are we, so right away we knew that was the installer of our choice. I must say that the customer service is exceptional, calls are promptly returned and all concerns addressed. We purchased Mercier hickory hardwood from another supplier but since we didn’t have enough Roy gave us additional product at the same price. We installed the hardwood about 8 months ago and there are no gaps, squeaking or shifting. Initially we were upset about a few scratches in the floor. Roy gave us a matching stain but also offered to change any pieces. Living with a toddler we have now learned to accept any nicks and scratches that might happen. The floor looks absolutely fabulous! It’s very durable and still looks that same as the day we installed it. Very happy with the service we received and final outcome.

My wife and are expecting a child when I noticed a bit of water seeping in the basement. After calling a few people I had to get a company to come in and rip up the carpets in our finished basement. It turned out we had a massive project on our hands that insurance wasn't going to pay for. Dov was very helpful in guiding me on what needed to get done and actually found me an amazing person to excavate the entire outside of my house. When everything was done it was a no brainer to let Dov and Roy help me with replacing my new floors in the basement with a laminate. They were very professional and knowledgeable in what type of floor would work best for our needs and also taught us what to look for. I felt very comfortable with Invision. When it came time to put in the floor and trim, the crew was very professional and fast. I am now left with a basement that looks amazing. Invision Hardwood was excellent to deal with. They refinished the main floor of our house while we we on vacation. All committments as to timing, price and quality of workmanship met and even exceeded our expectations.
