Loc Tite Interlocking

Hey Gregg, its Ray from last year and I haven't gotten around to do a review until now.
So me and my wife wanted some interlocking done around our home and we were refered to Loctite by a friend who has had work done from them in the past. The owner, Gregg was very professional and did the estimate the same day we called in. Just from the interaction with Gregg I knew it would be a job well done so I signed the contract asap. The brick arrived within 3 weeks just like the contract specified and the escavation started immediatly the next day. A very hardworking crew showed up with proper machinery and tools. These guys were in and out in a couple hours with the front, back and side completely excavated. The crew came back for the install the next day. I could tell when looking out my window that it was a very professional crew working with excellent efficiency. The owner Gregg, even came to work alongside the crew and I could tell he wasnt exxageratting when he said he had 30+ years of experiance. I was so impressed when they finished the back that I went out and bought them Starbucks. Me and my wife decided to invite them in for lunch and the crew were the nicest people. They got back to work immediatly after and quickly laid out the rest of the brick. When I woke up from my afternoon nap, all the brick was laid and the steps were all installed. The quality was astounding and the brick wasnt even sanded at the time. The rest of the work was done by around 8 oclock that same day and I paid them in full along with a 20 dollar tip for each of the workers. I loved that Yasha kid, he was so polite and hardworking, he is definetely going places. It has been over a year now and the interlock is still perfect: no cracking, splitting, or brick shifting at all! The level and drainage has been perfect since day one. My wife wants to move to the states soon and I'm so happy for the family that has bought my home. I will enjoy these last few weeks with the perfect job that Gregg and his company blessed me with. Overall, the job was identical to the contract as the owner, Gregg was very meticulous with his work. Very long lasting as it has been over a year and the brick is still good as new. The brick arrived on time and the escavation and install took less than 2 days. Gregg even told me that he moved his own schedule around in order to finish my job. The pricing I would say is amazing for the quality of work. My wife and I would proudly recommend the services of Loctite to anyone who wants interlocking done.

Bought a house with a brand new LocTite driveway. Neighbour said it was hurriedly put in over the weekend. I’ve since discovered that there was virtually no gravel used below the brick. Instead I’m finding construction waste 2x4s complete with rusty nails 2” under the brick.

This work was done quite a few years ago but the poor construction revealed itself almost immediately. I’m trying to relay the bricks and am flabbergasted.

They did a great job on time and everything was done perfectly. The workers were very nice and really cared about the job. In my opinion I would recommend this company to anyone

I was very fortunate to have been referred to Loc-tite Interlocking by my friends who were extremely satisfied with their work as well. We recently purchased a new home and the backyard was a mess and driveway needed to be ripped out ASAP as there were many holes and cracks. The owner met with my husband and I to price the job and moved his work schedule around to accommodate my job as a priority. The crew sent over was professional and completed the job to my family's satisfaction. I was also very impressed with the follow-up service and inquiry to ensure we were completely satisfied with the service. I'd strongly recommend using this company, it's been a pleasure working with them!

I hired this company 5 years ago. The salesman person named Foti was a charlatan. He changed the quotes several tomes and after the contract was done, disappeared. The owner and chief named Greg cut the edge of the work and installed low quality stones. He was the one man show with unprofessional teenagers on the site.
After a few months all stones moved around and the gaps appear and the driveway and backyard appeared bumpy. Non of my neighbour’s driveways look like mine done by the other companies. I tried to contact the manager (Greg) every year during pat years, no avail. I decided to take them to the court.

We found Loctite to unprofessional due to broken promises of work to be done, not returning emails, and lengthy delays. They did not keep their end of the contract. The workers who put in the interlock patio were very unprofessional in their behaviour on site.
Overall not satisfied.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

Had a man by the name of Joe turn up to the house offering a free quote on an interlocking driveway for our home, he did his measurements and told us he'd be back in a few days to give us our quote. Sure enough, two days later, Joe showed up with a quote of $3200. We agreed to the price, signed the contract, and paid a deposit of 10% ($320) down for the service.

Later that evening, Joe called to tell us that he'd misquoted and the new price he was going to charge was an additional $1000! It felt a bit shady, so we took a look online at the reviews (which we should have done beforehand) and they were all of people being extremely dissatisfied with the quality of work, bad customer service, and theft! We called Joe back and told him that we were not happy about the misquote, we would be taking our business elsewhere, and would like our deposit back for the original quote. Joe agreed to come back to our home and pay back the money, but hoped that we would reconsider.

When Joe turned up at the house, he spoke to my us about giving their company a chance to change the bad reviews of the past and even offered to do the work at the cost he'd originally quoted. We decline having seen the reviews and Joe told us that he only had $100 in cash on him and he'd need to come back the following Monday (September 23rd, 2019) with the remaining $220.

It is now the following Tuesday (September 24th, 2019), Joe did not turn up to return our down payment, and when we called his number there was no answer. We called the company number on their receipt and spoke to a man named Greg who tried to convince us to give them a chance to do the work at the originally quoted price, and when we refused again we were told that Joe's gesture of giving back $100 of the payment was generous and came from his own pocket, because the deposit we paid had already been put into his (Greg's) bank account. When we continued to refuse, Greg said that they would not be refunding us the money he'd put in his account because we signed a contract and we were the one's leaving it.

And that was it! It was our mistake for not looking at reviews before agreeing to have work done, so we will cop the $220 loss. I hope this experience can help someone else who is considering having LocTite do work on their property. Do you research and find someone else! This is a dishonest and dishonourable company who will give you their word, shake you hand, and then take what they can from you.

THEY DESERVE LESS THAN ONE STAR!!

Do not use this company I dealt with Foti he convinced me to give him a deposit, I had told him I was not ready yet, he told me not to worry to take my time, once I decided I did not want to do the whole job instead to do something smaller like the flagstone to cover my deposit he charged me a crazy large amount, I got it done in half the cost he had quoted. He would not return my calls, or messages, once he took some money he was gone. I never expected that I would be taken advantage of.

As you can tell by my rating, my family and I are extremely happy with the work we have had done. We have used this company twice in the last year and recommended them to family and friends and all have had similar experiences. The work was neat and completed in time despite having rains that interrupted work days, the crew was very friendly and hardworking. Many neighbours commented on the good work when the job was completed. The owner himself worked on the job some days, made very useful recommendations, accommodated changes and also scheduled promptly and came back to attend to repairs/alterations. Good price, product and service. Thank you Loc-Tite for the amazing job!

This is our 2nd time hiring this company. 1st time 14yrs ago they did a great job doing our driveway and front steps. Up until today the work was amazing even after such a long time. 14yrs later we decided to hire them again to upgrade our driveway as well as do work in our back yard. We called for estimate and Foti came to do our estimate & than he came 2nd time with some great ideas at which point we decided to sign contract with them.They start the job in May 17th the 1st part to set up the base was done in one day.
We had estimated completion time of July 10/2017 but due to unfortunate weather conditions it was raining all summer long. July 16th we were expecting guest come for a visit from Europe.
Every time i contacted LOC TITE i had conversations with Greg or he would call back and provide regular updates in terms of works being done and estimated completion time.
Greg or Foti would always talk to us or return our calls in timely manner. They were able to complete the job in front and back yard with in 2 days.
Crew of guys that came were supper friendly and efficient.
Upon completion no dirt or any kind of mess was left in and around our house- the crew did amazing job at cleaning up and it was like they were never here.
Any last minute requests or concerns we had were immediately addressed and/or correct by the team to our satisfaction.
At the end of the day we were very happy with work done in front and back yard.
All of our friends love new look of our front and back yard and are amazed at how fast and neat work was done.
