Gem Windows and Doors

We noticed that another house on our street had windows replaced by GEM and thought they looked really nice. When we decided to finally replace all the old windows at the rear of our home, we decided to give GEM a call. Expecting them to be very expensive, we found GEM to be very competitively priced. We had them replace our basement windows first, and based on these good results, had them return to do several other windows.GEM gave us clear detailed quotes with various price breakdowns to illustrate the options, accommodated unusual measurements and window configurations, as well as a custom colour for one window at the front of the house. All staff associated with GEM arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. The installers were particularly good, doing a very complete and professional looking job and leaving the area clean. We are very happy with the quality of the windows and the excellence of the installation. We found GEM easy to deal with, and would call on them again.

The salesman was professional and courteous, I was impressed that the owner actually called me after my first contact to ensure I had been looked after. Price was very good and the quality of the windows is excellent. The installation team was prompt, polite and did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves and left my home neat and tidy. A few minor issues with the screen on 1 window, a missing floor lock will all be addressed shortly.
I will recommend Gem to anyone. they are very good.

Very competitive prices. Workers came in and installed both items quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. End result was excellent. We didn't get the door knob we requested, and only after phoning the company did we find they were out of stock. It would have been nice to have known that beforehand. They did offer to come out and replace it one new stock was received.

We decided to replace our front window and GEM was recommended to us from other family members.
I am happy to say that our experience with GEM has been excellent, from Victor who is the sales rep to Joe and Mike the installers and Lily in the office it has been a pleasure dealing with you.
The product was delivered and installed as promised and installers worked with precision around our California Shutters, very clean job.

Our Black front door is neighbours’ envy
We have had all our windows and door replaced with new windows by Gem windows. We were completely satisfied with their products quality and an excellent installation work. I would like to thank the owner of Gem windows, Spiros for he has suggested us to go with brick to brick instead of retrofit windows. He also suggested replacing all our new windows with awning and casement type instead of sliding windows. We accepted his suggestions and it is well worth the little etcetera money we spent for them. Spiros recommended the True tech black front door that is classic and stands out. Our sincere thanks to Joe and Mike for their good job and to Lilly for coordinating the work schedule. Clearly advised what the product was, how it was made, and how long it should last. Install crew arrived on time, listened to my needs about what I thought should be done and how it should finish looking. Crew offered good ideas for me to reattach my existing inside 85year solid wood trim. Crew did a good job of cleaning up, protecting the interior before entry as well. 5 stars to Spiro-sales, and the crew-Joe and helper. Would not hesitate to use GEM again.

I had Gem windows replace a couple of windows in my house about 10 years ago and was very happy.So when i decided to replace the kitchen window i contacted them again. The salesperson was very informative and suggested a greenhouse window.He also suggested i come into their showroom and look at one before purchasing. The installer was also very good and left no mess. They also repaired the hardware in one of my upstairs windows free of charge. I would highly recommend this company.

I decided to use GEM windows for my clients for several reasons. Quality is high on my clients list and my sales rep at GEM suggested a mid line of windows that would be best suited for my application and help keep costs in line with my clients budget. Installation was fantastic and quick. They left the property cleaner after they finished than it had been when they arrived. Lastly is a company that will support their product and I have recieved great phone support from not only my sales rep but his manager when I needed it. All in all I was very satisfied and will use GEM on my next project.

I have all the windows in in the upstairs of my house replaced and they look great! They have beautiful beveled glass, and the mechanism for opening them is wonderful and they make every room look better.

My old windows made the rooms seem smaller and weren't well made thus weren't well insulated for keeping the cold out in the winter and warm in.
The men who came in to put the windows were fast and efficient. They were all changed before i knew it.
My only complaint would be that i wish they had told me that after they were done with the windows I had there would be divots left in the inner frames. They are easy enough to fix, but next time i might have paid a little more to have them do that while they were there.
over all, love the product and there service was great!
