Dodds is a reliable, competitively priced service. I can refer them directly to my clients or work with them to choose the right door for our projects. Their installers are experienced and do the work right the first time.

Word of advice, don't let the installer leave unless the job is finished. The guys were missing a bunch of parts when the showed up, and even after a trip back to get them, they still didn't have all the weatherstripping they needed. After a month of emails and phone calls, I'm getting nowhere. It's a 60 second job to finish! Unbelievable. And they also split my roof truss (I didn't notice until after the fact), with a massive lag bolt, that probably needed a pilot hole. Just brutal service, and I'm still trying to get a response from them. Again, read your sign-off notice closely, and do a close inspection of their work. The have no respect for people's property, and left cut metal, screws and garbage all over the garage too. Will never recommend these guys.

UPDATE: I eventually contacted the president, who quickly had someone back to finish the job. I shouldn't have to go through all these hoops. Although I'm appreciative that the president got the weatherstripping installed quickly, that simply doesn't erase the bad experience.

Recently had issues with both the garage doors opening randomly throughout the day. Wasn't sure what it was but Dodds had done the install 6 years ago and we never had any issues untill now.

Called Dodds and explained my situation and they were able to have a service tech come by later that day. He recognized the issue and did a reset of my system and once again everything is working fine again.

Ordered 2 complete custom garage doors with install. We got the look we wanted at a very competitive price. Although we had a little hiccup in fabrication, our new garage doors are beautiful. The quality surpasses expectations. The mechanism to open/close is quieter than what I am used to, the track system is super smooth. Very happy with the outcome.

The service guy John was great and also very helpful in explaining things regarding garage door maintenance. He tested the system throughly several times after the installation. Thanks to him. Glad that I had chosen Dodds.
