We'd had chronic water issues in our basement, and after the February thaw this year, when we got water in an area we'd never had issues with before, I decided to deal with the problem once and for all. Called Clark Basement Systems (CBS) based on very positive reviews on this site. They sent out a package of material to review ahead of time, and we were able to schedule a consultation about 3 weeks out. Dean (our sales rep) was knowledgeable, punctual, and put together a comprehensive proposal for a full perimeter system (which comes with a transferable lifetime guarantee), and we scheduled the work for April. Rob and crew were great... always kept me informed on what they were doing, and consulted me before making any decisions that would impact the solution. The team was hard working and cheerful, and did their best to minimize mess. CBS also put me in touch with a good contractor to do the finish work in the basement, and coordination with them was good (we needed to disconnect our furnace cold air return for the waterproofing work). Despite some initial miscommunications on the furnace work, CBS was great in following up with me and making sure things got done.
Ultimately, I am impressed with the system, and looking forward to seeing how it performs. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a huge step up from our old sump pump too.
Overall, a very positive experience.
