I hired Perfect Painters & Home Renovation Services to completely transform my basement after reading other reviews on HomeStars and meeting with Dave to discuss the project. Dave really sold me...he's very easy to talk to, had great suggestions and the quote was incredibly fair. My husband and I really loved the crew that worked on the project which was a huge bonus! Jeff and his team were excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and we're thrilled with the results of their work. We were also particularly appreciative of working with Karam the painter who was incredibly polite, detail-oriented and respectful of our space. As with any home reno, there were hiccups along the way and each time Dave, Jeff and team were very responsive and quick to address any issues or concerns. We're really happy and have asked them to continue on to some significant upstairs renos!

We called Rickey to come repair a burst pipe during the thaw of the huge ice storm. Needless to say, plumbers were very very busy and I couldn't even get my phone call answered by his competitors. Rickey was the 12th phone number I called and not only did he answer, but he was over within the hour to fix the problem. Thanks so much Rickey!

Hero plumbing solutions delivers on it's name! I wish I knew about them years ago. I called Frano at 4:30 pm on day 2 of Toronto's -20s temperatures. The minute he answered the phone I felt put at ease. Given the temperature, finding anyone willing to come out had been like pulling teeth. But not Frano. I explained that I'd already had a company in earlier that day to thaw our frozen pipes, but the pipe burst during the process. That plumber charged us for the thaw & quoted us over $860 to fix the burst. Frano was so kind and said he'd be by in 1.5 hrs. True to his word, he arrived at 6 pm and got right to the task at hand. After having a look in our crawl space he provided us with a quote for less than half of what the other guy (and one other company) had quoted. After agreeing to proceed he got right to work. Even though it was now dark out and the crawl space is only accessible from outside. He was done in about 1 hr. and also gave us some recommendations on insulating our crawl space. Seriously, Frano was our hero! Do not think twice about calling him!
