Simon and his crew were super professional. Showed up on time and replaced all the old leaky roof and replaced most of the plywood that was rotten. excellent job even connected bathrooms fans that were disconnected with proper venting. I would recommend Guildwood Roofing to everyone! Further, Simon helped us tremendously by repairing our roof from tree damage quickly following a horrible storm that passed over Ontario. He was quick to respond despite being extremely busy, was reliable every step of the way, responsive and now you cannot even tell we had a severe damage to the roof, looks just like before. We used Tom twice to do the home inspection to buy a house and I can say that both times he saved us a lot of money by being the most thorough with his findings. We used him for the pre-inspection and he identified some issues which helped us in deciding how much money we wanted to offer, considering some costly (but not visible) repairs that needed to be done. The second time we used Tom to do an inspection on the house with the conditional offer. As a result of his findings, we were able to use the report to renegotiate for the sellers to complete some costly repairs, saving us thousands.

We came across Alex’ company on Homestars after having a big fence company refuse to do the job because they considered our backyard to be too big of a liability- we had to remove a few trees growing very close to the fence line. Alex and his team were very professional and made the whole process very worry-free for us. They did the work really quickly and Alex was always available to get hold of. We couldn’t be happier with our new fence and would recommend Alex to everyone. He can build a solid and good-priced fence on any lot!

Tom really saved the day for us and he is probably one of the most experienced arborists in Toronto! We needed help removing a few medium-large sized stumps because a very big tree removal company refused to do this saying it’s impossible to do without breaking the equipment because of the adjacent metal fence of the neighbours. Tom was very responsive and removed these stumps quickly! We highly recommend him to anyone!

We had initially a really bad experience with the crew who left 2 feet stumps of our trees and this resulted in the significant delay with putting our new fence. Luckily the regional manager was very responsive and understanding. He ensured that the job is finished and we appreciated that. However, we were completely emotionally drained by the original crew because they were impossible to get hold of. Definitely better training of the staff is required.

I couldn’t thank enough George and his dad for being so fast, efficient and professional. Enbridge detected we have a gas leakage and shut down our gas supply. George is a licensed technician who came within a few hours of contacting him. Just like other reviewers said he is very diligent and thorough. He tested all our gas connections and showed me gas leakages as well as test results. It made both me and my husband feel comfortable throughout the way. They fixed leakages in a day and put back our gas supply. I would recommend George and his dad to anyone. It was the best result of a very stressful 24 hours. Thanks!
