This is the second time we have turned to Toronto Granite for natural stone and fabricating. The first time, we did our kitchen and 2 bathrooms in quartzite. This time was a small custom table top. Everyone we interacted with- sales people and back shop workers- were courteous and professional. Bob went the extra mile once again, and gave us a beautiful table top on time and at a terrific price. Thanks again to all.

Our project began last fall, when we invited Rolltec to assess the feasability of a retractable awning. We live in a condo, with many restrictions and lots of glass. Rolltec was able to provide an excellent solution, they worked with our engineer on how to affix the retractable awning to the building facade, and they guaranteed the price we had agreed on, as we waited many months for the condo board to OK our project. The installation went perfectly, the motor is quiet, the awnings are of excellent quality, and we couldn't be happier. Thanks Rolltec!

Our condo board stipulated that we needed a structural engineer to assess the feasibility of installing an awning over our terrace since it would be installed on a common element wall. Yu promptly responded to my email request. I was able to send him the necessary information, and he followed up by doing a site visit within a few days. Yu provided us with exactly what was necessary and within our very tight timeline. He was professional and thorough. Thanks Yu!

We bought our engineered flooring well in advance of our condo renovation, and paid in full. We were assured that the flooring would be held until we were ready to use it . When our flooring installer went to pick it up - approximately 6 weeks later, only 8 boxes of the 35 paid for were available. Geri, at the Yorkdale location only shrugged, and said "it's not my problem"! When we asked for a refund, he said he could only refund $2000 per day. This company is incredibly unprofessional, and not worth even stepping into their store. Had it not been for our installer, our entire renovations would have gone off the rails.

Paul provided a very fast response, solution to the problem, and education for the future. He is highly professional and honest. This is the second time I have used Cascade Plumbing, and will certainly use their services again.

Paul was very professional, courteous and did excellent work. The price was very competative given the amount of time needed to remove a concrete sink, move the plumbing, and repair the wall to accomodate a cabinet- enclosed laundry sink. I would fully recommend Cascade Plumbing and intend to use this company again.

We contracted with him on the referral of friends. However, our renos were a larger scope, resulting in subtrades being used. Joseph did not do any of the work himself. The work was shoddy, the price kept going up, materials we expected to be included were not, and materials that were included were of inferior quality. Our kitchen cabinets and flooring were damaged during the installation. This was not a pleasant or positive experience in any way.

We could see and hear squirrels running on our roof, and it wasn't long before we heard them in the ceiling. I called A Animal Removal on the recommendations of HomeStars. Chris arrived on time (a few minutes early), and projected a friendly and professional image. Chris went on the roof, and found the squirrels had come in through the plumbing stack. He put a one-way door and screen over the stack, as well as over a secondary stack. He even cleaned up the eaves trough! I wish all my contractors and service people were like Chris of A Animal Removal.

We have been shopping around for hardwood flooring. The "hardwood flooring store" has a good website so we visited their store. We were pleasantly surprised to find oak flooring at a very good price. The associate, and later the owner/president helped us to select flooring to match an existing floor and our price. We were given samples. When we asked about different grades, our choice was only downgraded because of the size of the boards i.e. many short and only 2 1/4" wide.They were considered "still select and better" , except for the width and length. We purchased the following week, only to find the boards were only 1/2 inch wide, instead of the 3/4 we were expecting. We called the store, and were only advised to return the product. When we returned to the store, the owner said "What more do you want, you got your money back." There was no apology, no attempt to find an alternative product, no effort to make it right. Wow!! We were blown away at the terrible customer service, and all this from the president of the company! The only good thing I can say, is the warehouse guys were apologetic that we did not buy what we had expected. All said, we had poor customer service, and would never recommend or revisit this store.

Called this company to repair the ball bearings in my noisy dryer. He said he would be there within 2 hours. He never showed. I called, and he said another 2 hours. He never showed or called. The following day, I received a call from him apologizing and asking if we still needed servicing. He came over, said we needed new bearings and a new heating coil because (according to him) we had no heat in the dryer. Yes, we did have heat in the dryer. He quoted us $200 for repairs or $225 for a reconditioned dryer and our old one removed. When he brought over the reconditioned dryer 2 hours later, it appeared to be almost 20 years old, and said it would be better than our 7 year old dryer. When I pointed out the age discrepancy, he said he wanted another $25 for the delivery. I paid him his $45 service call, which he snatched out of my hand, and kept my existing dryer. Very unprofessional, and I felt like I was being scammed.

The entire company is very professional. They will not over sell you, they just honestly recommend what you need. Ernie, the owner, the office person, and Ron who actually did the work were friendly, courteous, clean and on time. The joints now look absolutely perfect. Colour matched too.

We had tree roots block our sewer. Company came quickly, removed the blockage and scoped the drain. Recommended updating all clay sewer line with PVC to property line. Gave us a quote,we agreed. then when our entire front yard was dug up, demanded $500 more to finish the job. He said his workers did more than what he wanted, and he was not going to swallow the cost. We paid, fearing a backlash. Leftg a huge pile of dirt on our property, dirt that should have been compacted and put back where it had come from. Our garden is likely to cave in his spring. Also left mud and dirt all over our property and our neighbours. This was a very bad and stressful experience.

No, No, No! Every employee had different advice or recommendations. It lead to confusion and a failed deck stain. A custom paint store should have superior knowledge and advice, not conflicting suggestions or techniques.
