We were nervous about hiring a contractor but once we found Larry we were relieved. The best! He has great people and everyone worked as per the schedule Larry set. Would not hesitate to recommend him for any job. Thanks to all - we love our new kitchen.

We have worked with Larry off and on through the years from a small bathroom reno, kitchens, baths to complete interior renovations of different floors. Each time Larry and his team met our brief and exceeded our expectations. They are experienced, able to troubleshoot, and problem solve when issues arise. He is backed by a strong team of experienced professionals who have pride in their work, with positive attitudes and good communication skills. Our most recent project was transforming an overgrown neglected back garden into a neat and tidy refuge, a space I am sure we will now use more often. Throughout the years we have gathered estimates for different projects, Larry is definitely not the cheapest, however you get what you pay for, great work well executed, finished in a timely manner.
My backyard project took 3 weeks from initial contact to completion, with only 2 images of what I wanted. Many thanks to Justin and his crazy hardworking crew (they dug and filled the whole yard approx 60 ft x 15 ft, without machines). And thanks again Larry.

Repairs to water pipes and ceiling caused by winter storm and installation of a stairway gate on a narrow stairs.

Work involved relocating plumbing; remove and replacing insulation, drywall, and painting; eavestrough replacement and relocation.
All of the work was done quickly and done well. Workers were always on time and were very respectful and friendly.
The quote given was high, but this is an expensive neighbourhood and the quality of the work was also high.
If not for the price I would give 10/10, but if you want extremely professional work and are happy to pay to be worry free, then this is for you.

When we met Larry we were impressed with his professionalism and previous experience. He has a great team of skilled trades and a designer who was very helpful throughout the entire renovation process. The designer was a valuable resource in the decision making process and keeping us in constant communication with Larry and his team. We highly recommend Maher Construction for any renovation work. We undertook a full kitchen renovation in our condo and hired Larry for the general contracting. (The cost of cabinetry, countertop and appliances were extra on top of contracting costs.)

Larry and his team helped us renovate our basement family room - they did a really great job and his team were outstanding. The work included removing a structural column and installing LVL beams, new drywalling, new lighting, new flooring and trim, new doors, and painting.

Larry is very good at keeping his trades coming in right after each other so the project doesn't lose momentum and finishes as fast as possible. His team always cleaned up after themselves and their work is detailed and high quality. Larry kept us to date on progress and timing, and he was helpful in suggesting approaches that were budget conscious.

This was our second time working with Larry after a much larger reno on our upstairs' floors. He is the best contractor we've worked with and I highly recommend working with him.
