They indeed came the same day to fix. The fix was small and took about half an hour to do it but the costs was $220 including a replacement of pulley that cost like $20. I think the service fee is quite high. Besides they gave time gap from 11 to 2 pm and the guy came after 2 pm. I had to call the dispatcher to chase him. I am not impressed and would not recommend them.
Vadim, the company owner, halped me many times with my computer problems. He is always very resourceful, helpful, knowledgeble, can remotely analyze the problem via Teamviewer if needed, he can also come to your place and fix the problem. I highly recommend him.
/renovating / building two bathrooms
There are a lot of skillful workers in this company but they do not like contracts that are less than $100,000 that are small for them. I asked them to renovate one existing bathroom and to build one bathroom from scratch. They did decent job but it took them 6 months to do it although they promised to do it within 1 month..As my contract was small they constantly left the site in favour of more lucrative contracts. Also there were deficiencies and flaws. Some of them they fixed after but some not.
I had a horrible contractor who kept postponing the work completion on the rental unit and I had to fire him to do the work promptly. I called a few handymen. Charlie was the first one who returned the call. He came the same day to give the estimate and schedule the work. Although he was busy and I had to wait for a week and let the tenant to move in. Charlie came and completed all the agreed work in very tidy manner not disturbing the tenant. He is very polite and does very good job. I will be very happy to hire him again.

On a very short notice I needed to sand and paint the bedroom in my basement as the contractor who was supposed to do the job kept delaying the work day after day. I called Renaissance Painters in the morning and spoke to Jason explaining that I need someone to come today in the afternoon and start working in order to complete the job tomorrow. Jason was very polite and did his best to find someone on so short notice, literally a few hour notice. The work was done well and completed on time.
