We hired Jason to install for sheets of Porcelanosa in our ensuite shower. We paid extra for Porcelanosa to provide book-matched sheets. My husband and I were out of town during installation but our interior designer was there. After the slabs were cut on site and three of them were installed, we were contacted and told that the fourth one didn't match. When we came home, we blew up the photos of the slabs and identified that the fourth one was installed upside down. Jason agreed to make a price adjustment which satisfied us. We paid the agreed amount and were told that after all other work in the room was done, they would come back to do a final caulking. In the meantime the grout along the inside corner pulled away and left a compromised seam. We contacted Jason several times and each time he said he'd come out the following week to repair the grout and caulk if necessary. He never did and we had our contractor add grout (not a colour match). Extremely poor service. Would never recommend these guys. Unhappily, we must look at the unmatched pieces for the rest of the life of the renovation.

Not how this went at all, likewise we would not work with this customer again either. They were just looking for a deal, and we would gladly challenge anyone who knows and installs slabs to go over and have a look at the quality to judge it. The install was fantastic. Cracking in corners of walls happens with wall movement in almost all installs over time and anyone who builds or is a contractor would know this. We agreed to go back and silicone but the customers didn't want to pay as silicone was not included in the original quote. The slabs that weren't book matched did not have heavy veining and it was an honest mistake that happens to the best of us, we agreed to replace it but they wanted a discount instead which we also agreed to.
Non the less we appreciate the way you feel and are sorry you are unhappy with the results.
