We had a problem with our kitchen sink plumbing where the garborator seemed to be backing up into the dishwasher and creating a foul smell even after a couple of full cycles. The dishwasher was not the problem as it is a top of the end brand and I was advised that the plumbing was perhaps done incorrectly by our contractor several years ago.
I called Waterworks and made an appointment. Michael showed up (5 minutes early) with his generous smile. He looked at the issue and quickly identified the problem - that there were several issues with the way the pipes were constructed and draining. The dishwasher pipe was feeding into the garbrator, which in turn was attached to the main pipe. The pipes were not angled, thus allowing residue to get stuck and there was no air-release gauge as well as poor overall construction.
Michael basically took all the pipes apart and re-built the entire piping structure from scratch the way it should have been done. It took him a few hours, but I had the pleasure of getting to know him better as he worked- he is a true gentleman.
Not only did he do a great job in fixing our plumbing, he actually pointed out a couple of completely unrelated household matters and even vacuum cleaned our fridge heat compressor for free (it was filthy - don't know how he noticed it as you can't see what's back there unless you open it up - he had a feeling).
I would definitely recommend Michael and WaterWorks if you're looking to get any plumbing work done as they are very professional, courteous, caring and actually do care. I joined their plan in case of future plumbing needs!
