Milton re-upholstered my mother's recliner and added taller legs to her sofa unit. She is elderly and was having trouble sitting on the sofa as it was too low for her to get back up and out of. She is very pleased with the firmer cushions and is now able to sit comfortably in her living room. Although Milton was very busy and it took several attempts to track him down, the wait was well worth it.

Valentin arrived on time, quickly assessed my problem and replaced both my shower faucet cartridges and installed new extension parts as my wall tile is thick marble. He was able to fix what two other plumbers could not. I couldn't be happier with his work!

I was moving condos within my same building and after several quotes, Arby's was the best. They showed up exactly on time and efficiently moved my furniture. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism given the difficulty of moving some of the items. I was prepared to hire a specialist to move my 500lb elliptical machine but they were able to move it without a hitch. They were also able to move a previously built-in shelving unit that had no backing and was quite shaky. I was sure it would crack but Arby was able to move it without incident. This was my first ever move where nothing was broken or missing. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Arby! They deserve a medal.

These guys are the absolute WORST plumber I've ever used. My shower faucet was leaking and my toilet was running. The plumber arrived and told me I needed parts. He left and returned an hour later from his supplier. He spent 2 hours on my shower and told me I needed to order more parts from Moen and call him back when they arrived. He charge me for 5 hours even though he was only here for 2 hours. My parts arrived a few days later and I left 4 messages before another plumber called me back. He installed the parts and tried the shower. It seemed to work, but he had jammed the handle so far in that within an hour, it sprang back out and water started to leak again. He also reversed the hot and cold sides. I have now left 5 more messages and no one has returned my call. Interglobal was very quick to cash my cheque, however, which they insisted be made to CASH. If I could give them a NEGATIVE rating number, I would give them a -10.

Antonio was the most professional contractor I have ever used. He was very thorough in removing the old electric panel which looked like a bird's nest and replaced it very neatly with the new one. His crew even took the time to troubleshoot other electrical issues I had with my pot lights-something another electrician could not fix. This took them a few minutes to resolve the issue. They even replaced all my hard to reach burnt-out bulbs. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants excellent, honest service.

I requested service for my toilet and sink blockage in my upstairs bathroom. The tech was on time and explained the diffferent services available for my problem before proceeding with the work. He was thorough and professional. He explained to me the issues with the plumbing and the course for treatment without any pressure to proceed with his services. He put down a drop cloth and cleaned up all the mess. After all was said and done, my sink and toilet are now functioning very well.

I live in North York but travelled way out of my neighbourhood to buy my fireplace at Hearth Manor. The staff were customer-focused and knowledgeable. I had been to three other fireplace stores and was either ignored, given wrong information or treated with indifference. One store quoted a price that was $400 (!) more than the previous store for the same model. Another store was willinge to sell me a fireplace but had no one who was able to deliver or install it for me. I called Hearth Manor with a few questions and they returned my call promptly with helpful answers. It was worth the drive out to Mississauga and I am looking forward to lots of warm, toasty evenings in front of my new fireplace thanks to Hearth Manor.

I hired Mapleleaf to do some troubleshooting around my home. It is an older home and some of the lights and outlets were not working. I also wanted some extra outlets installed. Adolfo, the electrician showed up on time and was very diligent in his attempt at getting to the root of the problems. He was very good about doing the job right and did not compromise safety. He did his best to minimize my costs and took extra pains to finish the job the same day. I was really impressed with his work and recommend Mapleleaf wholeheartedly.

I booked a painter/handyman to paint my kitchen and bath. The painter, Leroy, arrived at my place and was very courteous, professional. He was attentive to my concerns and did a conscientious job of painting both rooms in a timely manner. I also had some minor repairs to be done and he made quick work of them. Both rooms look fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend Perfect Painter to anyone. I could not be more pleased!

I selected Cozy World after receiving several estimates. Boris was very professional and I appreciated his honesty as he did not try to oversell me on my furnace or air conditioner as some other contractors tried to do. The installers arrived on time and I was able to go to work as they assured me the job would take all day and they would contact me if they needed anything. They finished the job and hauled away all the old equipment. They left me with the equipment guarantees in a nice plastic sleeve and left the cover for the air conditioner as well. Great job and I am very pleased with the work.

I had hardwood flooring installed in my master bedroom. I had received estimates from 4 different firms and although Floorwood was not the cheapest, it was not the most expensive either. What swayed me to choose them was their outstanding rating on Homestars. I was not disappointed. The guys arrived promptly and were very professional. The work lasted most of the day but it was painless (for me anyways). The installers were very neat and courteous. When they had finished the job, they cleaned up all the mess. I had selected a Brazilian cherry wood and after a couple of months, it still looks gorgeous. I would highly recoomend them.

Boris, the owner of Cozy World, showed up for my quote on time and was very honest and courteous. The quote was competitive and the installation crew was professional and did a nice clean job. They fixed a wiring issue with my thermostat and had everything up and running quickly. I always wait a few weeks to do this type of review, just to make sure everything is running smoothly and after 3 weeks, everything is perfect. I could not be happier with the service and the equipment.
