Sparrowside Roofing was the 4th! roofing company I used . The first company did the flat roof and after the first rain there was almost a foot of water in the middle. When I called them that they didnt slope it, they said that wasnt in the contract. The second roofing company put cement on it to try to make it slope.Water still pooled . Finally I found Yusuf at Sparrowside Roofing. Right away he knew how to fix the problem. He didnt redo the whole roof, just the part ( large part) that needed to be sloped to the eavestrough downspout. That saved me money. He fitted me in between other jobs, came on the weekend, and did very thorough work. He noticed the skylight was leaking( it was) and fixed that as well. His price was well below the first roofer who never bothered to slope my flat roof. Yusuf is very conscientious and pays attention to every detail . I highly recommend Sparrowside Roofing.

Jahmiah and Youssef were very organized and hard workers. They were very pleasant and explained everything they were doing. They came on time, and worked efficiently and quietly. They wore booties and were very clean. I highly recommend Air Force Duct Cleaning ! Thank you .for a great job.

Ivan Icaza runs the Toronto West division of Hickory D Decks. He could do absolutely anything and be superlative at whatever he does. He is organized and supervises all jobs and workers. He is always at the job at the beginning and end of the day. He accurately measures the job to be done, draws out detailed diagrams for every area, and is on top of every detail. With the 3 large balconies, there were changes that needed to be discussed, and Ivan was always available to explain the different choices, he never pushed us to choose a more expensive one. Completely reliable and easy to work with.Great crew. We removed old cedar decks and installed composite decks. The quality of the material and workmanship is outstanding. We are delighted to have beautiful decks for years to come.

They installed two new roofs on the 2 areas.One month ago. A few days ago after all the rain, I called Dimitry that there is 2 inches of water completely covering the roof outside the bedroom.He said his price did not include sloping so the charge to slope the roof and do it AGAIN would be $7500.Unbelievable!!! Isnt a roofer supposed to see if sloping is necessary and do it properly from the start??????

Aug 8/2022 We were delighted with our stucco work by Marco's Dessano Stucco Systems. Marco is very knowledgeable and explained the different stucco systems used. ( his website is excellent) He showed us what he would suggest for our home and why he would chose that particular type, He welcomed all our questions. Marco is very organized and professional. His team repaired and stucco'd our house in 4 days, including the light fixtures to be able to stucco around them, and replacing an unsightly vent. He replaced heavy old fashioned iron grill awnings above the doors with beautiful moldings and also added moldings around the windows,- which made a beautiful difference. Marco gave us a quote and he stuck to it- there were no add-ons or surprises. Marco and his crew were on time every day, and were a delight to work with. They even trimmed the bushes all along my driveway. Marco is very detail oriented and obviously takes pride in the results. The crew did a nice clean up job at the end. A fantastic experience! Mr Hill came to do the estimate and describe what his crew would do. The day they came, they were early, and explained everything again to me. Robyn was the head of the crew. She is superb and very organized. She led the team of 5 . It was a big job, trimming hadn't been done in years. We were very happy with Toronto Tree Removal- the leader, the crew, and their approach. In fact we are booked with them in 2 weeks to cut down a 'weed tree' that grew between our home and the neighbour. They will have to bring in bigger machinery to cut out the stump. We trust this company.

Ross and his son Eric work seamlessly together. They have done many projects in my home. The last one was to build a separate entrance for a basement apartment. Inside the entrance they created a closet that fit the space exactly and uses every bit of space we have there. Ross and Eric have loads of experience and always have practical, safe and attractive ideas to solve my many house maintenance and reconstruction issues.They are on time, work quietly and very consistently and are completely reliable. I feel lucky to have found them. I also enjoy the suggestions in Eric’s monthly newsletter.

My experience with Frank, the owner, has been excellent. ON TIME. ON BUDGET.He listened carefully to the specifics of what I needed. He reviewed all the options, their cost, the time to completion. Frank is very organized and 'hands-on'. I took time off work to be there, and he visited the site daily. He has licensed specialized trades, all showed up on time, answered all our questions, and left our home spotless. Frank has worked on construction projects for years, and uses his knowledge to analyze options and provide great results. Very professional.

I found Charlie ( Mr. Rescue) based on the wonderful reviews I read on homestars. He helped us with various projects on my "to do" list around the house- inside and outside. He shaved off the decayed part of our garden gate and replaced the part of the fence it connected into. I appreciated that he did this rather than insisting on replacing the whole gate ( which another handyman had insisted on) and so saved us money. Charlie also figured out how to put a lock on a study door that had warped over time. He sealed cracks and openings in our home.,hung pictures into the brick above the fireplace, and bricked in a large hole in our outside wall where an air-conditioning unit was taken out.Charlie had a very strong work ethic. He arrives when he says he will , and stays until the work is done. My husband and I have a lot of faith in how Charlie assesses a job and how it needs to be done. Charlie's dad was a contractor and Charlie worked alongside learning. Now his son works with Charlie- the third generation. Charlie has great expertise and goes the extra mile to make sure every task is completed perfectly.I will definitely hire Charlie again, and I highly recommend him.
