We called Waterworks based on reviews from Homestars to do some plumbing work for us. We had just done a kitchen reno and needed to restore the plumbing from the main line to the sink, faucet, and dishwasher, and to re-attach the drain. We also had them install the dishwasher.
The phone staff was friendly and great in setting up the appointment. George the plumber was prompt and presented us with the company standard binder to show us the pricing for the work we wanted done. The work was done in half a day (much quicker than if we had to do it ourselves) and everything looked good. All throughout, George was courteous and professional and cleaned up after.
The only comment I would have is with regards to the price "menu" and the clarity around how it applied to our particular situation. One part of the work we were charged for was for "Installation of sink - other" which to us meant that the work included the mounting of a third-party sink (yes, Water Works also supplies sinks!). However, the sink was already mounted to the countertop, so I would think that there should be another "menu item" that was just specific to plumbing, unless, of course, we interpreted it differently.
Other than that, great job!
Follow-up comment: We had noticed our faucet leaking a day or so after the work was done. We called for a follow-up and was assured that since it was a recall that there would be no cost. However, when the faucet was inspected and it turned out that it was due to the faucet itself and not the work, we were charged with their standard visit fee of $50. Unfortunately as we are not plumbing experts, we would not be able to tell this. We just feel that if we were building a long-term relationship with them that this was definitely not a good second impression, especially since we paid a lot of money for the initial work. Based on this, we would find it hard-pressed to recommend them to someone else.
