So happy to have chosen 2 Men (actually 3 show up). Moving elderly parents from Peterborough to Toronto. Bungalow to a retirement home. Efficient friendly office staff managing a brilliant, careful and kind crew. They were extremely patient as we had to decide what went and what was to be left and donated - amazing how much "stuff" my parents had after 30+ years in the same house!). The crew was understanding as not everything was clearly labelled. We are thankful to have found them here on Homestars as well. I recommend 2 Men 200%! - BP - Toronto

We had ignored regular maintenance of our ductless units and Dupont to the rescue - both are back in perfect order. The team was out with a few days scheduled and were able to do the work quickly and cleanly. Very professional and courteous - we are and will always be repeat customers. They know their stuff!

Wish all services were this awesome! We were delighted once again to have Jeff and his team work around our home where over the years fixtures begged to be replaced and outlets repaired. This was a 2 part job at both our home and my Mother-In-Law's - she lives in a 30 year old condo and had many broken pot-lights and switches through wear and tear. Jeff was easy to get a hold of to explain the work - Matt's work was flawless and in a short time we were all done and bright again! Don't look any further - this company is A1 in our books.

Had heard about Finer Edge and have seen their signs in North Toronto. Brilliant work and professional staff. Bill had our work scheduled within the time we needed and his team nicely restored an entire exterior porch living area as well as shutters around the home building. It's a big job and the biggest investment we've ever made in our home's maintenance. A 15 year old roof on an 85 year old home that we have lived in and loved for 15 years. After weeks of research and reading reviews here on HomeStars (whom we have used to find 4 other excellent trades) we were very fortunate to have found Arthur and his company. I can honestly say look no further (and when you do you will hire) - the Roof Whisperer - he should be your first call. It was ours and when reviewing 3 other final quotes, HomeStars reviews/recommendations --- to seeing the final work done its hands down the best decision we have made in caring for our home. Arthur knows his trades and we were able to do shingles, eaves trough replacement and chimney tuck pointing all together. From Jean on the phone setting the appointment through the fabulous crew who did the hard work and left not a trace of debris everyone was tremendously helpful and professional. We are "enjoying" the roof and knowledge that it was done right. I'd say I am a 9 out of 10 on the choosy consumer scale but can say if you do your research you will understand the passion of the reviews you see here for the Roof Whisperer. Fantastic service - Coldest day of the millenium (Jan 7th) and Dodd's repaired our garage door as promised with minimal time having our car outside. Beyond expectations - our back door lock was picked - luckily we are fully armed with a CHUBB system and cameras so they did not get a foot in. We replaced key doors with non-pick locks to be even stronger. Leo was at our home the same day as the call - with a fully equipped truck on the spot and enforcements completed in less than an hour. Excellent service and work from Chaim whom I found here on Homestars. He quickly returned my first call - scheduled a service within 2 days and in less than a week we had essentially a new fireplace - cleaned and repaired from the gas valve to the remote.I appreciated his expertise and full explanation of the work. Craftsman did our exterior shutters a few years back and just competed 9 interior windows. Phenomenal craftsmanship and very professional installation. I only wish we did not wait so long to do the interior work. It has transformed our 1920's Georgian into a beautiful, full of light home to be proud of. Call them - we are happy customers now having invested over $6,000 with them. Highly recommended.

Old house - a few mice in for the winter. Sleepless nights as they climb the walls. Carlo was here promptly and kindly explained how he'd rid the house of our uninvited friends. I did not realize its more involved than dropping some bait. He inspected the external walls of the house and found more than a few suspected entry points. Mice are small and the space they can squeeze through seemed smaller still. A pleasure to meet with good stories about his adventures in this space and how he guarantees his work. Friendly, professional and effective (2 weeks later - no mice). One of the best we've found on Homestars. Bryan - Toronto

Fast response time to our phone message - Tom was on the site when requested and the fix was done in less than 30 minutes. Our back door had the main lock latch give way and Tom was able to repair it without a costly replacement ($400-$500). We appreciate the fact he could have said it must be replaced but was able to repair it quickly and efficiently instead. Wish all businesses were such a pleasure to deal with. November 13, 2009 Brilliant work by the team on our garage roof. We are really pleased with the finished product. Adam and the crew arrived bright and early and were done before 5. They were professional, courteous and very responsive to our queries as the job finished up.
