Painting of 4 dormers, 3 basement windows, shed door and trim, 2 small vents,front door trim. Presented professionally and experienced. Hired on this basis and justified high price saying 3 men and 3 days. Was here for 1.5 days and workmanship very shoddy. Did not sand doors. Pictures of finished product attached. I called Ashe said work was guaranteed. He fixed shed door saying there was a nail he could not pull out first time?
There was paint on our door sills, brick, porch and door jamb. The brick and sil he tried to clean and now discoloured. The side door remains a mess and he became sarcastic saying a 50 year old door can’t look new. I don’t expect new and have realistic expectations but this is not acceptable and he refused to fix it. He also sprayed 6 outdoor lights which are 3 years old and the paint on one is all dripped and smeared.
I let him know he was overheard asking a painter how many coats he had done and the painter said One. He responded “just say two”. He laughed and said he was just joking! This is my experience with Jan. I
