Our project was a variety of small drywall repair and odd jobs - capped off with a replacement of the interior doors on our second floor. Because ours is an old house, we needed to preserve our door frames and special order the doors.Perfect facilitated our door order - and their carpenter Wail installed them. Wail was wonderfully charming, polite, and professional - always let us know what he needed to do, how long it would take, and cleaned up after himself. We have a small child at home who loved having him in the house. We loved working with him.We're very happy with our experience.

After using Perfect as part of an interior reconstruction job that I was extremely happy with, I called Wayne @ Perfect when our kitchen window began to leak. Wayne quickly assessed the job - and he assigned Peter to reseal our window and repair the interior damage and finishing. Wayne wanted to preserve the window if we could - and wanted to find the most efficient way to manage the job possible. (If through the job, we had to go further via replacement, we would but only if the job required it.) The job was done quickly, cleanly, and transparently. Again, I'm thrilled with the attentiveness, quality of work and service, transparency of quotes, and attempt to solve a problem correctly in a cost-effective way. Having now worked with Perfect on a big job and a small job, they're my go-to for solving any problem in my house.

We developed mold in the ceiling under out flat roof due to condensation. After reviewing the “evidence” areas on our ceiling, Canada Restoration identified the cause – and the solution: removal, reinsulation with spray foam, and reconstruction of the ceiling. Perfect Renovations was retained by Restoration to manage the reconstruction which put us in touch with Wayne. Wayne was honest and transparent during the quote process – listened to our needs for the reconstruction, and suggested areas we could improve the house with a sense of the costs involved. During the job, Wayne was in communication regularly – and daily – with status reports on the job. His teams of drywall contractors, electricians and painters acted with professionalism in the house and did solid work. We encountered some delays during the job – which is natural in a complex job with a number of dependencies– but Wayne worked hard to address them promptly. Wayne’s customer service went above and beyond – our job extended over the holiday weekend in July due to an earlier delay, and he was still on site to ensure the scope of the work to come was addressed with the right people. In short – despite this being a job we didn’t want to have to do – Restoration & Perfect provided us with good counsel, a fair and transparent quote process, a team that worked hard to do the best job with the utmost care to our home, and a champion effort by both Restoration & Wayne at Perfect to coordinate all the various contractors and teams that needed to be part of this work. And we came in on budget. Our home looks better than it did when we started – and we had the best possible experience we could have due to the high degree of communication, ownership and service provided by Wayne and his teams. We’ll definitely look to Perfect in the future for other renovation needs. I happily recommend Wayne and the Perfect team for your complex renovation needs. No one wants to do unexpected jobs – but if you have to – these folks will get you through it in a great way.

Restoration’s quote was competitive – and the team, coordinated by Alissa, also coordinated quotes from partner companies Insta-Insulation (for the spray foam) and Perfect Renovations (for the reconstruction). We also appreciated Restoration providing conditional quotes based on whether or not mold was discovered and required removal. (Ultimately, mold was discovered / confirmed during the job and was removed – but knowing the cost in advance took some of the stress out of the job). Alissa was a great partner during this job – coordinating the three companies, and providing regular communication on its progress and any unexpected challenge. Our job did extend beyond the original quoted timeline – however this was not due to negligence – it should be expected in any complex job that some bumps along the road would be encountered. Alissa worked hard with the various Restoration and Perfect teams to ensure that we were back on track in full communication. The Restoration team acted with great care on the premises, ensuring that areas of the house not part of the job were protected with great care. There was some damage to our paint around areas that needed to be sealed with tarping during the job. This wasn’t expected – but was again not due to negligence - it was due to the high heat inside and outside during the job. Again, Alissa coordinated a solution and Restoration had these areas fixed without question. In short – despite this being a job we didn’t want to have to do – Restoration provided us with good counsel, a fair and transparent quote process, a team that worked hard to do the best job with the utmost care to our home, and a champion effort by Alissa to coordinate all the various contractors and teams that needed to be part of this work. All that, and we came in on budget.
