I had used Affordable Lock service 10 years ago, for a small interior handle, but remembered that they were very efficient and helpful so, when my front door lock showed signs of needing to be replaced, I called them again. They came promptly and, when showed the malfunctioning lock, the serviceman was able to do a repair, rather than a complete replacement, that saved me quite a bit of money. I mentioned Home Stars to him, and he told me that they were already associated with you - I should have known!

I called Swat Wildlife because I thought I had squirrels in the attic, having noticed damage to the roof. The team (Jonny and Kevin) arrived on time and were polite, professional and knowledgeable. After inspecting the damage, and going into the attic to check further, they explained that, while I did have mice in the attic, there were no signs of squirrels. The damage had been done by a raccoon, which apparently planned on spending the winter up there! There were several signs of raccoons on the roof. They put bait in the attic to get rid of the mice, then repaired the roof, and protected it from further damage. They also put wire cages on three roof vents to avoid damage in those areas. I feel very confident, after seeing what they did, that I could recommend them to anyone - going up in my attic is no fun!

At the mercy of a large, determined, fearless raccoon, who was obviously intent on spending the winter tucked up cosily in my attic, and was ripping shingles off my roof faster than would seem possible, I was directed to homestars.com and Mr Rescue in particular, by a daughter with great computer savvy than I have. He responded very quickly to my initial call, and followed up promptly with a visit to look at the work required and give me an estimate. He was back within 2 days to do the work, which was accomplished with speed and neatness, and came in under budget!
