FRANK ON THE DANFORTH

I found them at the home show, and they are also a block from my house. Turns out they had done my neighbours window too Window install was good, sales guy was good but I just felt they had to make 2 many trips to my house ( 3 times) before the actual install. I will use them again for at least 2 other windows

As a Member of Direct Buy I was reffered to this company to have my recently purchased bed delivered to my house. Minutes after the delivery I noticed a side rail was cracked and called Direct Buy immediately. They informed me to call Frank at Hi-Speed courier regarding this issue as it left their warehouse undamaged. Twice I have called Hi-Speed Courier and no one has returned my messages. I find this very unproffesional and would not recommend this company to anyone. I am also filing a complaint with Direct Buy for recommending this company. The damage to the bed only Cost $90 and I have already re-ordered the part but it's not about the money it's about the lack of respect for it's customers for not returning my calls.

Kyle was great to deal with and John pulled it all together at the end to fix a few minor issues I had at the end but overall I am happy with the job. They used a subcontractor to install the floor and I felt him to be a little unprofessional in his comments on the 2nd day at my house. There was also a scheduling issue with a custom vent that stopped the install with a 2x3 section of flooring unfinished for a few days.

I have been doing renos in my home for 2 years and after completing my livingroom and diningroom it's time to take a break. I have heard from others that duct cleaning is a scam well Top Line proved that wrong. I called them asking if they could come the next day and they fit me in at 8pm, which was great as I had already missed enough time away from work dealing with other contractors. The job turned out to be a big job as my ducts were very bad, think it had something to do with me ripping all the plaster walls down and not covering the vents. They charged me a little more than quoted but I was fine with that. It took 3 of them about and hour to do the job and they showed me what was coming out of my vents, all I can say is that it was incredible, wood, plaster, rocks, and dust that was so big it looked like insulation. I was very happy with the job and the crew that did my job.

This is the 3rd time I have used Mr Rooter in less than 2 years. They come to your house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week even on holidays at no extra charge as I learned that on the Family Day Long Weekend in 2009. There is no hidden costs and quotes are free. When I bought my house 2 years ago I was told the cast waste pipe that goes up to the second floor and into the cement basement floor should be replaced. Well 2 years later it started leaking into the basement. Mr. Rooter came out at 9am as I requested, gave me a quote and did the job that day. Justin the plumber was very good, friendly and I even had him look over some other things in my house and changed the shut-off valve while he was here. As well as a great job Mr. Rooter guarentee's all there work and and issues that you may have are dealt with immediately. I am very happy with this company and will continue to use them.

This is the 2nd time I have used this company. The 1st time they were able to repair my roof for the minimal charge but told me I'd get a year or 2 out of it. This time I decieded to fix it and I was very happy with their scheduling, their employees and the price. I have to say this is the only roofing company I would use.

I noticed a few bubbles on the ceiling of my master bedroom and thought I better get it looked at. Replacing the whole roof would have been tight with my present budget so I was hoping it was a small fix. I called them and they came out the next day. Took pics and showed me the issues and fixed them right away. After that the took my downspouts down because I had an issue with my evetrough filling up with water. They cleaned it and put it all back. Anyone could have turned this into a $3000 roof and $600 for the evetroughs but they were very honest, friendly and great to deal with. So outcome was no more leaking roof, they also told me the approx. age of the roof since I just bought the house, the condition and that I should start putting money away to have it replaced as well as replacing some plywood.

I had my inspection done in July 2008 by Carson Dunlop. He did notice some things but completely missed others. Knob and tube in part of my Home, well it was almost the whole house ($6,800 repair). Said my flat roof needed some work, it was replaced, never said anything about the chimney, it was falling over. He said the grading was bad running between our houses, he was wrong it was good. the floor was soft in one spot, I knew it but he walked over it numerous times and never noticed. I bought this house as a fixer upper so I expected issues but as some others have said I really think your better off with a contractor than a home inspector to look at a house.

On Sunday night of the family day long weekend I called 3 plumbers and no answer so I called Mr. Rooter, they were great on the phone and since my pipe wasen't backing up into my house they came in the Monday morning which was a holiday. They determined it was my pipe in front of my house but since I had the old S trap pipe they dug down 8 feet and removed it replacing it with a new straight pipe and 2 cleaning pipes. It was determined that the blockage was further down in the city pipe and had now started to back up my 2 neighbours in our 100 year old houses. They snaked it free, replaced the pipe and had the city show up to inspect and got me my $2000 rebate back from the city. They were very good in my yard even replacing my small bush that they had to remove.

They came to install my new furnace, 1st off they put a hole in the side of my house in the wrong place for the air intake and filled it with cement. After they left when the job was completed I realized they never turned the water on to my humidifier so i turned it on. The humidifier started leaking all over my floor so i called them and they showed up in 30 minutes. The fixed the original leak and found 2 other leaks and also noticed the chimney sleeve was installed incorrectly, something they had just done earlier in the day. I must admit though after I complained they did everything that needed to be corrected quickly and even came after all the work was done to double check

**** DO NOT USE MY NEIGHBOUR USED AND CAN"T GET WARRANTY..I purchased a house and needed the roof fixed, 3 quotes Avenue Rd wanted to sell me a Cadillac when I wanted a honda at $9,000 and tell you how much better they are but I've read their reviews, Alpine wanted $5,500 and Kingwsay did what I wanted and suggested things I should do for only $2000 + GST and came when promised. Not the greatest but the price is fair I guess if it leaks I can change my rating but I think they did good

When I called in roofers to fix my roof we noticed my chimney's life had expired and needed to be replaced. They recommended Extreme Masonry and when I called the number the guy was there in a day, fixed it and came back almost a week later for payment when he wasen't busy. Work was great, fast and I'm very happy. I had another quote and it was $200 more than what he charged me

Found this site online, called the guy and was very happy with the work. Had other quote of $9,000 and he did it for $6,800. Workmanship was great and all in 4 days. Had my house almost completely rewired, no more bad reno wires and Knob and tube from the previous owner. His recommendations were great and he left us with our 100 year old home at Danforth and Coxwell feeling like it was new with very little holes for running wires
