I have a water heater rental from Reliance and it needed to be replaced due to corrosion. As part of the replacement they also needed to redo the venting. The scheduling and customer service was ok, but the installation failed the TSSA inspection for safety and they need to return and correct the connection.

Booked a furnace up and AC tune-up with Spring Home. I initially had some concerns with the service. I was contacted subsequently by Spring Home and they offered to redo the appointment and address my concerns. I like the fact that they follow up and really try hard to address any concerns that you might have.

I had a problem with a Frigidaire dryer whose drum was very noisy during operation. Over the phone Brad provided an initial assessment of possible causes and an estimate for the costs, should parts need to be replaced. He was very flexible with the appointment and also assured me that they carried in stock the parts that could be needed for repair. (Bearing kit, heating element) The problem turned out to be several pieces of plastic and fabric that became lodged behind the drum. They lubricated the bearing and cleaned up the drum and the dryer is running great currently. This company was very honest and professional in dealing with our problem. I would highly recommend it.
Aquarium installation and advice
I have purchased a 120 gallon tank and had it delivered and installed by the great guys at Big Als. They were helpful in providing advice from cycling, matching kind of fish, recommended maintenance and best brands. Very pleased with the service.
I've had a great experience with Spring Home. They have replaced my broken furnace and aging AC and were very professional, provided great customer service and were reasonably priced. Before settling on the equipment, their technician Jack stopped by a couple of times to give us different options and explain the differences between the types of available equipment and brands (brand differences, single stage vs two stage furnace, case coil etc). He was incredibly helpful, patient and worked with us to get the best combination for our house in terms of performance and available rebates. (in our case OPA and Lennox). The installers did an excellent job, worked fast and clean and did a really nice job of running the piping and condensate pump hoses. Jack came back after the job to make sure that we were happy and everything was done properly. Really good company, I would highly recommend it.

I would not recommend the services of this company. They somewhat rushed through the job, came unprepared (no magnetic register covers, no silver tape for re-sealing the ducts they opened) They tried to re-use the old tape that I had previously for sealing the ducts, but air was leaking from every joint. I provided them my own tape and they sealed a couple of places but left the rest for me to fix saying they needed to get to another job downtown. They did not clean behind them, and damaged one of my wall covers when taking it off. They didn't say anything about it and I only noticed it after they left.
I just had my ducts cleaned thoroughly last weekend by Royal Duct. I tried booking a couple of top reviewed companies but since they had no convenient times available, I went with a friend's recommendation and I was very happy. They came in on time, worked very cleanly. Even though they had a bit of trouble running their line through my small basement window and that took a bit of time, they didn't rush the job and they thoroughly cleaned the ducts running the airbrush several times until they were happy with the result. They also didn't haggle trying to sell me odorizing or antibacterial sprays like other companies did in the past. Punctual, patient, thorough, I definitely recommend their services.
I had a problem with my gas valve on my furnace that lead to my board also getting fried. The technician diagnosed it quickly and got the parts and repaired the next day. He was prompt, clean and seemed very honest.
We had a problem with the drain of the basement sink. I had tried plunging and snaking it to no avail and finally called Doug. It turned out to be signifficant grease deposit that had built up over the years that was clogging it. Doug was very patient, thorough and got it unplugged. He cleaned the drain thoroughly with the snake and flushed the drain several times until he was happy with the flow. He was thorough, professional, efficient and I will use and highly recommend him for drain services in the future.
