I moved into my house November 2021. I had some issues with a leak through a light fixture and knew it was a problem with the roof. I sourced 4 different Homestars recommended roofing contractors to quote. 3/4 quoted $15K+ insisting that I required an entire roof replacement. My roof is only 15 years old and they are 25 year shingles. Allan came by and after a thorough inspection advised that the shingles were in good shape - they just needed tacking down in some areas; it was the roof caps that required replacing. That was a significant reduction in costs and I went ahead. The workers were quick and cleaned up everything when done. Very impressed and will not hesitate to recommend.

Another great company found on HomeStars! We researched roofers, to re-shingle our roof. I contacted 3 companies and 2 responded. I had asked to be emailed. The first insisted on trying to reach me by phone which was impossible due my work schedule; when I was finally able to phone, they did not return the call. Matt on the other hand emailed, was able to set up a meeting at our home, and he worked within our budget.. The job took 2 full days due size of the home/attached garage as well as a single garage. The workers were courteous, and cleaned up all around the house at the end of each of the two days. The roof looks fantastic – such a difference! We are very pleased and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Matt’s Roofing.

We contacted Sue to provide a quote and hired her company to deep clean tile/grout and then colour seal our bathroom floor and shower stall. We could not be more pleased with the results. Our floors look brand new as does the shower stall. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Sue and Enviro Clean.

In December 2017, we started looking for another alarm system provider. (We were experiencing continual lack of customer service from our previous provider and felt we were treating like a "number" as opposed to a valued customer of 25+ years). One of the companies we contacted was Telsco. Their representative, Kris Stangeland, came to our home to discuss options. Kris is highly knowledgeable and put together a system that perfectly fits our needs. The two installers, Oleg and Amambeer were professional, cleaned up as they went and after the work was completed, explained how the system worked as well as walked us through the online applications. I have had to contact Telsco a couple of times since install, just for questions, and response times have been same day. (Our previous provider, in a couple of cases, took months to respond to simple inquiries. We have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kris, Oleg, Amambeer and Telsco!

In April 2013, my husband hired Robart Electrical to modify the electrical on our home septic system. We called them on Monday and Chris was at our home the following afternoon. While Chris was doing that work, he noticed that there was insufficient power feeding a previously installed sub panel, so he did a load test and upgraded the electrical for that old panel. We were very pleased with the speed at which our work was completed and that the site was cleaned up after. We would not hesitate to recommend Robart Electical.

Contacted 29APR13 for dishwasher repair. Naz advised he would call the following day to confirm arrival time. Did not call nor arrive. Emailed 01MAY13. No response. Called again 02MAY13 and Naz advised that he had "over-promised" clients this week. He asked me to text model number which I did, and he rebooked us for 04MAY13. He did not call nor arrive 04MAY13. We booked with another company on 07MAY13.
