Philip is the most professional and polite mover I have experienced in my life. I have recommended him to 5 people and all of them have only thanked me. Furniture are always protected, blankets are used to move down stairs, no damage to property, very friendly staff. They truly make your move “the right move”.

Never ever buying anything from Ashley Home Furniture. Salesperson is texting while we talk to her, once your done with the sale, good luck getting the sales person to talk to you. Probably the only store in Canada where noone picks up the phone ever or calls you back after numerous messages. Purchased the Johnelle Dining set. Update- when you think it could not get worst. The salesperson put in the wrong order and now I am left without a dining table and the chairs are wobbly. Installers put felt pads to fix it. This is definitely the last Ashley purchase of my life. Raised with corporate relations, no return of email.

Hossein is the best pot light guy in Ontario. Very patient, on time and he knows his stuff. He came in and gave me the best advise. He put small sticker markers to show me how they will allign, insisted on not overselling potlights,I wanted more pot lights but said I did not need that many. Very honest. He is very patient and answered maybe 10-20 questions with the same patience as the first one. Aligned the pot lights beautifully and left the house spotless. I am glad I found Pot Light Experts. Justifies their reviews and ratings.

With the windstorm, I had my shingles blown away and plywood damaged. There was a hole in my rood as well. Joe was quick to respond, came to look at the roof on the same day. To prevent any further damage, repaired my roof hole the next day and came back a week later to re-shingle the roof. Joe never misses a call, very honest and his quotes are very competitive. Not to mention the roof looks great.

Mark was great to respond, came out gave me a quote that was cheapest. I was a bit skeptical since his quote was lower than 4 people I had called previously. But the Home Stars reviews convinced me to hire them. Their work was great. They are very professional and quick. But I am not exactly happy with their cleanup (my front porch and driveway was full of wood dust). I am not sure if that is normal. Also, I was not expecting hole in my back yard created by their stump grinding equipment. If not for these two issues, they would have been a 10.

It all started with multiple water marks on my ceiling. Decided to call 3 roofers for a quote. Danny was the only one who sat down and explained my options. His quote was reasonable too. He was thorough with his explanation, the only one to tell me the importance of opening the soffit panels, attic airflow etc. Given my urgent need, he removed time from his busy schedule to fix my roof and came back as promised in April to install a new roof. Chuck and his men came in at 7:30 in the morning, finished the job the same day and cleaned up thereafter. These guys are the best in the business. My neighbours come by to just tell me how good the roof looks.

I wanted to get screen doors for my double french patio doors. From the time I met the sales rep at the home show till the screen was installed, the service I got was excellent. The phone rep Kevin was excellent, Mike Campbell the installer was great, did a clean and professional job as his reviews suggest on Home Stars. I am so impressed, I might be getting a screen for my front door soon too.

I have called Rick for the third time. He has never disappointed me. He is an honest man, my dishwasher broke down, he came in and gave me a honest opinion. He could have charged me several hundred dollars but decided to advise me correctly to get another one since the cost would be equal to getting another one.

This was a project, take furniture from my condo, put it in storage and bring it back to another condo after it my condo was sold. Nick and his group were excellent. They picked up the furniture (were there at the time promised), took it to storage and brought it back (were there on time. Extremely punctual. Furniture was in the same condition. They helped me put put back my dresser too. I will no doubt hire them again. Reasonable too. Thanks Nick

Rick is the most honest and punctual man in the business. i called him at 4 in the evening. He had prior obligation but yet came at sharp 6 as promised because I told him i had kids and needed help asap. He knew what the issue was and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He had the parts handy too. No wonder he is rated so high here.
