Andriy was quick to respond with a thorough detailed estimate, was onsite in less than a week, and completed the repair exactly as scoped in 2 days. Workmanship is outstanding. Cleanup was thorough. After all the rain this winter it was apparent I needed a new roof. I got a couple of quotes and while Penfolds wasnt the lowest, i went with them because of their reputation of standing behind their work and the fact that they have been in business for over 70 years. I spoke with a new neighbour who recently got a Penfold roof after moving in and before making my decision I asked him why. It turns out that the previous owner put a new roof on 2 years before selling. A leak developed which the new owners discovered only after some interior damage was done. The new owner went after the roof installer to honour the warranty only to find that the numbered company was no longer in business. That made my decision very easy, and now that my new roof is on, I'm glad I went with Penfolds. The crew showed up on schedule, and worked diligently from dawn to dusk for 3 days and completed the roof replacement, including some unplanned scope to resolve issues discovered once the old shingles were removed. While Penfolds stands behind their work, a huge factor in the quality of the roof you get is based on the crew. Make sure you ask for Roderick and his team, as they were outstanding.

Long Life replaced all my aluminum frame windows, as well as 2 aluminum frame patio sliders, 3 skylights, and my front door. We are extremely satisfied with the high quality Vinyltek windows and their lifetime warranty. Kris from Long Life was a pleasure to deal with. All promises and commitments were fulfilled. Commitment to customer service is a significant plus in dealing with these folks. As with any house project, its more than the materials. The installation crew is a huge factor in the success. Bernard and his team are top notch. They were efficient, knowledgable, very experienced, and they made the whole experience a smooth process. Everything was cleaned up at the end of every day. No issues or surprises. Bernard took the time to explain each aspect of the project and made sure I was satisfied. And the finish carpentry work was above expectation. The new window install technique they employ is superior to a reno install. And even the security service rep who came afterwards to reconnect the alarm sensors commented that the extra steps Bernard and his team took made his job a lot easier. The biggest advantage for me was that Long Life took full responsibility for the job end to end, versus other quotes that specified separately what the window manufacturer did and didnt cover, and what the installer covered and didnt cover, leaving me with gaps in the middle. Having one org take full responsibility made the premium paid more than worthwhile. I wish all house reno firms would model themselves after Long Life. While energy savings alone won't pay for this, we have noticed a significant reduction in cold air drafts through the house, and also a noticeable reduction in outside noise, so comfort level has been a welcome benefit.
