We called Duct Cleaning Specialists after reading such great reviews here on Home Stars. They were able to give us an appointment in a very short turn around time which was great as we wanted to get it done sooner than later. We discussed options on the phone and when they arrived on time, Paul had a look at the furnace and because it was brand new, determined it didn't need cleaning. He then decided I needed a basic cleaning of the vents and air return which cut the cost down to more than half of what I thought I'd be paying, He could have easily pretended the whole system needed a thorough cleaning, but instead was honest about it which was appreciated. After the work was done, he showed me before and after pictures proving that the air return had been cleaned and that there was a significant difference. Now the house feels much cleaner and doesn't get as dusty as it used to. Overall, they were very friendly and comprehensive and also threw in some filters for the vents and air return at no extra cost. They also provided me with a gift certificate from Tim Hortons which was just a nice added touch. I would definitely hire these guys again and highly recommended them.

I can't say enough about Tony's work! This is the second time I've used his services and as I remembered, he was honest, trustworthy and delievered on time as promised. Him and another member of his team showed up promtly, did the work in two hours as was discussed, and a lot of attention was paid to the detail of the installation. What's most impressive was the cleanup aftewards. You would never know that they had just shattered the previous window into a million pieces. They did a thourough job cleaning up. So much so, that you'd never know they were even there. We also asked Tony to seal up our windows in two bedrooms upstairs, which he gladly did for us as a bonus. Not only is he professional and skilled, but he's personable, honest and kind. I would recommend him anyday and would definitely use his services again in the future.

We hired Tony to come and install storm doors and caulk our windows. Despite our irregular shaped door frames, he was able to install them and make them look great. He also went above and beyond by doing extra small jobs that we asked him to do at no extra cost even though we offered to pay him for it. He was professional and punctual and his prices were very reasonsable. it was the cheapest caulking quote I found after contacting several companies and his work was clean and professional looking and the house is much warmer as a result.
