I had my kitchen floor replaced with vinyl flooring which was glued down to concrete. After 9 months the floor started to lift and you could feel air pockets underneath as you walked on it. I kept on contacting Sam and he kept on saying he would meet me to look over the floor, but he always had excuses such as being sick, on vacation or not answering my phone calls or texts all together. When I was able to get in touch he mentioned that his warranty was only for 6 months and I was beyond that time frame. I have worked with contractors in the past where things did not go as planned; however, they have always come back to rectify their mistakes. I am extremely disappointed that Safeway took no accountability for the issue and kept on hiding behind their 6 month warranty. I believe a floor should last longer than 6 months.

I understand your frustrations.

I offered you free materials and a 50% discount on installation, as I refused to reinstall any flooring without knowing the source of the water surge.

I've met with your tenant four times to rectify the issue, even sending you the specs of the material and glue.

I told you that it's possible you weren't informed by your tenant about a leak through the foundation or a flood from the kitchen sink that disintegrated the glue, compromising the flooring's integrity. My moisture meter readings showed 20% humidity during the initial visits and 24% humidity, compared to the 3.8% humidity at the time of installation.

I've repeatedly emphasized that the moisture content should be between 3.5% and 4.5%—otherwise, why would a strong glue turn to mush?

It's unfair to be portrayed in such a super negative light when I've been diligently trying to resolve a problem we didn't cause.

I had Volt Master change a very long run of cable that ran along the exterior and interior of my building. Communication was very easy and organized and the work was performed very professionally and promptly by his team. They left the site very clean. Brian and his team were extremely patient and answered all my questions (of which I had many) and addressed all my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician.

I heard scurrying in the ceiling and called Gates Wildlife to investigate. The technician was on time and very efficient. He investigated the house including the roof and it turns out I had two possible entry points which he quickly patched up with metal fencing/flashing. I haven't heard any noises since and it has been over a year.

I needed the sill of my bay window replaced along with some chimney repairs and was extremely happy with the work performed. Dave was prompt in returning my calls/emails when contacted. His crew came during the agreed upon time and cleaned everything up when the job was done. I wanted some follow up work done a few days later, because I noticed that some of the caulking had come loose and he was quick to respond and rectify the situation. This was one thing that I extremely appreciated. Sometimes there will be issues where you will need to call the contractor back and it is the responsiveness to these situations that sets contractors apart from one another. I was very impressed with how quickly he attended to my follow up request. It has been 7 months now and I'm happy to report that there have been no issues.

I was looking to replace my 25 year old boiler system with something more efficient. I called around to a number of places and ended up going with Spring Home as I felt that they offered the best customer service and were the most responsive to my questions. The process starts with an assessment of the system where I was told what to expect and what additional costs may be incurred if certain areas of my system were not up to code/broken. Cy and the lead technician were extremely transparent and knowledgeable and I appreciated their candor. They also did not try to up-sell me on various products and I felt that they gave me the best advice for my situation. The installation itself went very well. The technicians were extremely patient and explained everything that they were doing as well as answering all the questions I had along the way (and I had a lot of questions). They were extremely respectful of the space and cleaned everything up when they left. Finally, I was contacted one week after the installation for follow up, which was extremely appreciated. I was very happy with the consultation and installation and would not hesitate to use the services of Spring Home again or to recommend them to others.
