Few neighbors got together to have this company construct our fences and fence doors. Junior (?owner) talks a good game but the resulting worksmanship was poor. One example is instead of using a properly sized wooden plank for a portion of the door, he used two leftover pieces of wood put together and expected that I would not notice. When I asked Junior to return to fix the problem, he made multiple promises but never showed up again after he was paid. I spoke to him again about a month ago and instead of apologizing, he screams at me over the phone telling me I am not patient enough. HA HA. Imagine that. A contractor who scolds his client over the phone. Now it is one month later, and Junior has not contacted me or offered me to fix the problem. This company is dishonest and does not stand by their product and worksmanship. Look elsewhere. I will be contacting the BBB as well.

UPDATE: LAwnsavers contacted me to explain that their chemicals do not invite grubs to the lawn. They provided literature to explain this. I will take them at their word. I will see whether my lawn continues to have a grub problem this year without the use of any fertilizers or weed control. Thank you. I hired Lawnsavers to optimize my lawn care for the season. Now my lawn is absolutely destroyed as seen in the picture below. They claim that this is due to grubs in the lawn which invite raccoons to come and dig up the sod. This is not true. As you can see in the picture, only my lawn has been affected. There are no fences that border my lawn to the neighbor's lawn in the distance. In fact the dug up holes are literally within my borders only and there is not a single dug up hole on the neighboring lawn. Not only that,, my front lawn has exactly the same problem I suspect they use chemicals that promote grub growth. OR they simply did not fertlize the lawn properly and used cheap products. A properly fertilized lawn will not grow grubs. The claim that the animals/raccoons simply chose my lawn to dig up. Which is completely laughable. How would a racoon specifically choose both my back and front lawns and completely ignore the bordering lawns? It makes no sense. There is something that Lawnsavers did (or did not do) that changed my lawn such that it became a digging ground for racoons. I was not offered a better explanation or a treatment plan or any refund. This is a dishonest company that does not want to own up to what happened. MY lawn has never ever looked like this until I hired Lawnsavers. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Ray set up an alarm system (fire as well) for my house and detached garage. he utilized a GSM system that does not rely on phone lines. service was excellent and he came to troubleshoot it few times. My initial plan was to set up a camera system but this would not work for this particular situation. I will use Ray again for next time to set up a camera security system for a new house. Excellent service!!

If you need a company to renovate your stairs, look no further. We had older style staircases with carpet overlay and heavy wooden pickets. Simon and his team took one week to modernize both staircases and the result is outstanding. They also replaced the carpet on the top floor with hardwood. Definitely brightens up the home and makes the living space more contemporary. Simon's team is efficient, organized and clean. After they were done work every day, the place was never messy. They covered things with plastic which was very helpful. There is a reason why Simon and his crew are rated highly on Homestars. They are professional and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A complete and utter deception. This is deceptive and illegal practice. I even have paperwork that says 36 months!!! Second problem is the alarm system keeps beeping every day even if the alarm is not set to arm. I have to disarm it every single time it beeps. There is something wrong with the system obviously. This company has refused to fix the problem. They said they will someone to come fix it only if I pay them to!! Can you believe this nonsense? I will report them to the better business bureau and I will launch legal action for illegal deceptive practices.

My experience with Tom and his company Davel Construction was smooth and ultimately rewarding. The project was to install interlock in the front of the house leading to the porch, a side walkway, and a back patio. The plan at the back was also to install a deck which was constructed by a different company. The process was seamless: from the initial estimate, through revisions via 3D visualization, the construction process itself, all the way to cleaning up at the end. We were actually away for most of the actual work and what a pleasant surprise it was to see the end product once we got back from vacation. The pavers themselves are from Unilock. We chose Umbriano French Grey as the base color with Umbriano Midnight Sky as the border. The front walkway was constructed in tiers/landings learning up to the porch which was also covered with the same Umbriano pavers to create a nice continuous look. A border of boxwoods provides some contrast to the stonework. At the back, the Umbriano pavers contrast nicely with the walnut coloured deck. I can't say enough good things about Davel Construction. If you want a painless, worry free AAA experience with your next landscaping project from beginning to end, this is the company to go with and Tom is the guy you want to talk to.

Our dryer wasn't drying clothes very well. The builder-installed roof dryer vent was sub par and completely clogged with lint. Iain came and replaced the vent cap on the roof and cleaned out the vent. The dryer is working perfectly now. Outstanding work!

I have had Paul clean my ducts across a few properties over the years. Workmanship and cleanliness is superb. He came by the house today and diagnosed that our dryer vent is clogged at the roof. He then cleaned the ducts the best he could and suggested that the roof dryer vent be replaced. He did not charge me a cent despite spending at least half an hour diagnosing the problem and cleaning. Don’t bother calling anyone else for your duct cleaning work. Simply the best.

Potlight Experts are the best in the business Do not let anyone install your potlights other than Hosein and his excellent crew from Potlight Experts. Excellent workmanship, incredibly fast, very clean. He installed 23 potlights throughout the house and actually replaced some of my older bulbs for free. I will call Hosein again for my other house.

Jacob and his team of cleaning ladies were outstanding. The quote was reasonable and they worked all day to clean my new build house. The spent all day and worked beyond the hours that was quoted to me. The quality of work is apparent and the house is spotless. They even came back the following day free of charge to finish cleaning the basement due to a mishap with their vacuum cleaner the previous day. I am actually hoping his team can come clean my house on a regular basis. Professional service with a smile. Simple outstanding.

Luxury Windows is an outstanding company and I'll tell you why. Adriano from Luxury Windows was the only one who was willing to come to my house to show his products and provide his opinion on the type of window treatments that would suit the house. I settled on Maxxmyad Sunset shades and within an hour, he had Michael his installed come and take measurements. within 3 weeks, the shades were installed and they are of outstanding quality. The installation was perfect. There was a minor problem with one of the brackets coming a bit loose. They will be back in a few days to correct the issue Simply outstanding service. I would not hesitate in recommending Luxury Windows to anyone who wants top quality window treatments and a hassle-free experience

Rob from Sounds Good was the only person that helped me design a whole home audio and living room surround sound setup for a new build home. I called other companies who basically ignored me or simply were not interested. He worked with the builders in terms of making sure the pre-wiring and speaker wires were appropriate and properly located. After the house was ready, Rob and Luke came by and installed all the equipment. They stayed longer than expected to make sure everything was working and troubleshooted issues. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave anything behind. They explained how to use the equipment and Rob has been excellent about answering post-install questions. The results have been outstanding. This is my first home audio setup and I am happy. Works like a charm. Sounds amazing. TV and surround sound is just perfect. All equipment, TV boxes, etc disappear into the basement resulting a clean look of just the TV and the ceiling an in-wall speakers. I would work with Rob and Luke again on future projects and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who values quality in setting up their home audio. True professionals.

Called for an estimate regarding a leaky roof. Guy named Bob came to the house. Provided some advice to my wife, spent almost no time to explain, and charged $80. Said that no work can be done until January. Left a poorly handwritten "receipt" with his suggestions that I could barely read. Worse, did not even give me a call to explain his findings after taking the money. I called Smart Roofing and they said this Bob would call me. And ne never did. If you want to waste $80, call Bob and Smart Roofing. If you need someone to repair your roof leak and get an honest estimate, call someone else. What a ripoff.

I hired Craig from CBTree for a relatively big job and he handled it with aplomb. Total of 4 trees cut down and lots of trimming work. Highly efficient, highly experienced, and cleaned things up afterward. Cannot recommend him highly enough. The cost may not necessarily be the lowest out there, but the job will get done to your satisfaction. I wlll call Craig again for future tree work.
