I had my basement waterproofed by Clarke this past October 2013, caused by some flood damage after the Toronto summer flash flood. All of the people I dealt with at Clarke were incredibly customer service oriented and helpful (thank you Jose). I had many external issues with the job (completely independent of the Clarke team/work) so I had to have them back a number of times. They were amazing! The most recent episode was a leak that I discovered 8 months after completion and it was causing some flooding in my recently reno'd basement. I assumed it was a plumbing leak since the water damage was primarily on the ceiling of the basement and one particular corner. I called in an independent plumber and he said it was probably not a pipe leak that I should get a contractor to come in and pull down the newly installed drywall to identify the cause. Not what I wanted to hear, further he said it might be coming from my roof. Totally terrified, In the efforts to try and find a contractor I was advised after calling some who told me they were too busy, to call Clarke since they had done the foundation work and maybe they could identify the cause of the leak. Well THANKFULLY I did call them and they sent Fitz. I arrived home to the joyful news that he had already diagnosed and located the source of the leak - and in a record 15 minutes!!! This was not an easy leak to find (or at least not to my mind). Fitz has a natural affinity with water and with finding leaks. I would almost hesitate to say he is the 'water whisperer'. And not only that, he is a truly lovely and caring man. He has a gift that those of us lucky to meet him get to experience. Truly a lovely soul among men. Clarke is very very lucky to have him. And I suspect he is not paid nearly enough - Don give this man a raise!!! He stopped a nervous breakdown in mid breakdown. I will forever be grateful to Fitz and Adam!! Thank you guys.

I hired Eddie (Royal Landscape & Renovations) to do some renovation projects for me (he did some landscaping work as well as a laundry room reno. The last part of the project was for him to do a small kitchen reno. He came and took the measurements, I gave him the samples/paint chips etc. we discussed the timing of this phase. I had to postpone the job, and we were in touch a few times related to the rescheduling. I purchased $200 worth of backsplash tiles, that I asked him to pick up and store for me until he completed the project. Then all contact stopped, I have contacted him several times over this past year and left voice mail messages and sent emails to him. He has not responded, he has not completed the job and I have not received my tiles back.
