Once again, despite paying for a double home-comfort plan for over 3 years (2 systems) - Reliance did not show up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment. I had scheduled a follow-up AC repair because the tech did not fix the problem the first time week ago. So we have been without air conditioning for 2 weeks and Reliance customer service cannot even get in contact with anyone to determine why they did not show up and what they can do about it. Time to cancel my business with Reliance and find someone else who is....reliable.

Signed up for the plan 1.5 years ago. Had 2 emergency service calls for furnace breakdowns. Both times the contractor never showed up at all and never called, despite me calling and confirming several times that I was scheduled and home waiting. Had to reschedule both times and lose time off work waiting for service. Despite assurances, have never had the contractor call before arriving as they are supposed to. This service is subcontracted by Reliance to others, and there is no recourse for the customer besides quitting the plan. UNRELIANT HOME COMFORT!

I was originally very happy to find this company to do my cottage cedar roof. The job was delayed many times due to the owner's health, but he kept in touch so I was not overly concerned. Once started, the job went fairly well and the roof was very attractive. However, the roofers left the ridge vent damaged, so I requested that this be fixed when I made the final payment (big mistake). I was promised that this would be fixed, but it has never happened. This was 2 years ago. Since then the cottage has been infected with mice each winter- which had never happened in 50 years. Also, I recently engaged a professional architect to do an addition. When he inspected the roof, he said the top row of shingles was incorrectly installed, without a double layer and with nails exposed so that this would eventually ruin the shingles and cause water damage.
