On Canada Day, our tenant let us know that the water in the sink was not going down. We called Plumber on Demand, knowing we could have to pay some sort of premium given the holiday and emergency service. The plumber told us it would be significant work and gave us an estimate of $700. In a bind, and already knowing we had to pay the fee to get him there, we agreed. 12 minutes later, the job was done. All he did was snake the sink and tub. We paid $780. Completely gauging. We tried to speak with management about it, but they refused. Shows how much they care about their customers.

Our front door lock wouldn’t unlock either from the inside or outside. Rado was able to come only hours after I reached out. He was quickly and cost-effectively able to fix the issue. I would highly recommend him both for his professionalism and care in getting the job done right.

Our drain was being blocked and it was after hours so we had to call someone who could make it out at that time. Roto Rooter was able to send someone within a few hours. They fixed the problem quickly and easily (it wasn't a difficult issue), but it did seem a bit expensive.

George delivered great service at a competitive price. He extended our gas line and hooked up our bbq. He did a great job and was very friendly. We would definitely recommend his to anyone needing gas services.

Hamid is very precise in what he does. If you require drawings to submit to the City for a building permit, I would highly recommend him. He listens to what you are looking to do, makes any relevant suggestions based on his expertise and then comes back with a drawing he explains clearly and that is easy to follow. He is very personable and professional.

Stan was recommended to me and I am very happy I chose him to replace all the windows in my home. He gave us very good recommendations, was competitively priced, did the job effectively and efficiently and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him for any window/door project you have.

Majid exceeded our expectations with the work he did on our house. he redid our front porch which we now spend a lot of time on. He also built a large deck in our backyard that has hosted many bbq's. He starts with detailed drawings of what he plans on doing (after getting your input) and then he makes it reality. He is a pleasure to work with, very professional and got things done on the timeline he proposed.

We hired Pronto Roofing to redo the main part of our roof, as it was in a very bad state. The job ended up being more labour intensive as originally thought since there were three layers of shingles that had to be removed and a lot of rotted wood that had to be replaced (however, they still remained fairly close to their original quote). Pronto Roofing worked efficiently and got the job done in a timely manner. They are very proud of their work, and took pictures so we could see the before and after. It was obvious they did a wonderful job that we were extremely happy with.

We had water leaking into our basement and hired Express Rooter to do the waterproofing. Although they were the most expensive quote we got, we decided to go with them because of their reputation and link to Holmes on Homes. We also felt comfortable spending more money because they came with a 25 year warranty. They did the work, but we did have one issue. They left a hole open from the side of our house to our basement. We asked that they cover it in case it rains so no mud/rain will come in. They assured us this didn't have to be done. The rain came and we ended up with muddy water in our basement. Needless to say, we were very upset about that. I don't know if they're worth the money they charge.

Everything was done to ensure the mould in our basement was removed completely. The team was professional and efficient. The pricing seemed a bit high, but may have been in line with other mould removal companies.

We could not have asked for more helpful people at M.D. Pest control. They revisited our house on a few occasions to ensure the problem was fixed. They were also very empathetic to our situation, but promised they would fix it, and they did.

Neethan and his team were extremely professional and showed us the work they did so we could better understand. We had an issue of birds getting into the troughs after they left so Neethan came back to make sure everything got fixed.

Andy did our landscaping work while we were away on holiday. I described what we wanted, and he delivered. We were extremely impressed with how quickly he did the work and the way it looked. It exceeded our expectations.

If you are looking to have built-in shelving done (without too many embellishments) and at a very reasonable cost, Peter is the person to call. He comes to your house to do the measurements and then comes back another day to install them. There is no mess, no hassle and you are left with an amazing built-in unit that adds so much dimension to any room. We were worried it would make our small living room look smaller, but it did the opposite.

We trust Tom with all the work he does in our house. He treats our house like his own and finishes everything with a tremendous amount of care and detail. He is extremely professional and does high-quality work for all renovation types. His pricing is very competitive and well worth the work he does. Now that he's done work on our house, and we've seen the result, we always call him back if we have more work to be done. We don't even think about calling anyone else.

The plumbers at Public Plumbing are very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They clearly explain the work they are doing and why they are doing it. Their pricing is extremely competitive. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing work. I have already used them twice and will continue to do so in the future.
