I had a new hot water tank put in that also required a new chimney liner and it was a great experience. The crew (Adam and Shawn) were on time and worked very efficienctly without in any way seeming rushed. They were very diligent in protecting the floors with drop sheets and with their clean up. I ask a lot of questions and they were very patient and while doing the call they were also able to fix my broken furnace humidifier by identifying a problem that another company previously couldn’t. Great job and thanks!

Great job from the original visit for the estimate through to the installation. The crew had to install the furnace vent pipes by crawling under a large deck in the rain and cold and didn’t complain once! I have also used Novel Care for maintenance and repairs to my aging HVAC equipment in the past and have always been happy.

We have used MSD Contracting for exterior work on 2 occasions, at our old house in Vaughan and 7 years later at our current Toronto home. We were very happy both times. The first job involved widening a driveway using interlock and the job turned out very well. We parked on it for over 5 years and there was absolutely no movement of the stones at all. When we moved to our new house, we didn’t hesitate to call MSD again for recovering an old concrete front porch/steps with flagstone. After many freeze-thaw cycles, there has been no issues with stones coming loose or popping of any of the mortar joints. On both occasions, Marco was very helpful with suggesting the best materials and actually went with us to pick out and purchase stones. As they are sought after for their work, you have to book ahead, but once they start the job, they don’t leave you hanging and finish on schedule. I have also recommended them to a few friends and everyone was very happy with their experience, the finished product and most importantly with how well their work held up over time.

I had a great experiece using this company for the first time. Getting a quote was easy and fast. The crew arrived on time and were courteous and attentive to my requests for areas that required special attention. We had the "deluxe" package which inclduded cleaning the gutters, the inside and outside of the windows, as well as the screens. We also had a couple of corners of our eavestroughs sealed as they were leaking. They did a great job and I will definitely use them again next season.

Tom and his colleagues were an absolute pleasure to work with. I wish every project went this smoothly and timely. From the initial quote to the removal of the trees and grinding out the stumps, Tom was very helpful in explaining the process, what needed to be done and was very knowledgeable. As one of the trees that we needed to remove was quite large and was right up against both our garage and fence, it was hard to see how it could be removed without at least incidental damage, but the tree came down and the stump ground out without a scratch to anything else! We also had some very overgrown 20 foot cedars worked on and they look great now too. Most impressive was that after all the work was done that they cleaned up really well and my lawn was probably cleaner after they left than before they came. I would recommend them without hesitation and I also found the pricing to be very reasonable and competitive.
