We first dealt with Marco & Sandro of MSD Contracting in 2014 when they completed our landscape project in our front yard. Fast forward 7 years , we called them back to be part of our pool installation in 2021. They completed all the hardscape around the pool including the patio, steps, walkway and retaining walls. Their team put in long days and paid great attention to details. Sando and Marco helped us make minor changes as the opportunities presented themselves. We have since referred them to many others. We couldn't be happier with our backyard space. Thank you Marco and Sandro for helping us bring our backyard vision to life.

MSD Contracting with Sandro was fantastic! The best experience I have ever had with a contractor, Sandro was very responsive by email and text, he let me know each stage of the project and had some great suggestions that I took for my stone steps, my composite deck and my railing! His crew were all great and were so pleasant and worked really hard.

I was extrememly happy with our backyard project, it looks fantastic and it is quality work.

I cannot recommend MSD Contracting enough. We were extremely satisfied with every element of the project (which consisted of the construction of a large portico over the front door of the house, extensive patio pavers at the front of the house, and multiple retaining walls)- from design through to completion of construction. I've set out some of my thoughts below:

Introduction and Design Phase
Marco and Sandro are both incredibly competent and offered many great ideas during the design phase to ensure that we got the best value for our money. From our first meeting with them, we felt that they were honest and detail oriented (this was further reinforced as the project progressed). They are both also very responsive - texts/calls are answered within minutes and they did site visits basically every day.

Their quote was very detailed with specific cost breakdowns which, in our experience, is uncommon in this industry. Billing is a smooth process and there are never any surprises or unexpected costs.

Construction
The quality of MSD's work is great and we are very happy it. Care was taken to ensure that the site was always clean and tidy at all times. Their crew works hard and is courteous and you can tell that Marco and Sandro treat them like family. As an example, I was moving some large rocks around my property (for an unrelated project) during construction. I took a break over lunch and saw one of the crew members taking time out of his break to move some rocks for me (unasked for!) because he said that I was working too hard. That really impressed us and speaks to the overall customer service approach of the company.

Follow Up
Marco and Sandro followed up multiple times once the work was completed in order to ensure that we were completely satisfied.

We have recommended MSD Contracting to a number of friends and family that have hired them for even larger projects. We can't wait to work with Marco and Sandro again on future projects!

We were first introduced to MSD Contracting 6 years ago when we were having our pool installed. MSD completed all the stone work. They did a phenomenal job, Marco and Sandro were amazing to work with. When the project was completed, they truly knocked it out of the park, came through better than we anticipated. This past year, we called MSD back to complete a Pavilion, again they did a phenomenal job. When it was all done, it came out better than anticipated, we truly love it.

We wanted a complete reset with all our outdoor space. Marco referred us to a trusted landscape designer who helped transform our space into a space that was welcoming and relaxing. There is always the worry that things look different on paper than in real life, but I can honestly say that Marco and team exceeded our expectations!!

Our reset included the following:
In the back

* completely new stepped stone patio
* new deck
* new gazebo
* new gardens

In the front
* new stonework
* new driveway
* new gardens
* new flagstone

From the very first call we were impressed with Marco's honesty and professionalism. His team were on site to start when we agreed and continued to work on the project diligently. There were lumber shortages that made it difficult to source materials and Marco was honest and kept us in the loop. His team managed to do a lot of the stone work before getting the lumber to finish up the rest of the work.

Since most of our work happened late summer/fall 2020, Marco and team had to come back in 2021 to finish up the plantings. He was on the ball and reached out to ensure me that he had not forgotten the plantings and as soon as the weather warmed up he would be able to schedule the work.

Everything was on time and on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Marco and team and they will definitely be the first person I call for any future needs!

Sandro and his team were part of a PoolCraft installation. Sandro's group did:

Work is terrific. Very conscientious, superb workmanship and Sandro was on top of the work all of the time. Highly recommend.

Sandro was incredibly reliable and responsive. He was flexible as we requested changes to our plan and his team showed up when they said they would, bright and early most days. Very easy to work with, collaborative and end result was beautiful! Received numerous compliments from our neighbours. Highly recommended!
