SRS put up some fences and gates at our house this month. The brothers Adam & Ian were warm ,lovely guys who worked their butts off and did a beautiful job. We are very pleased. Their movements were very economical- a well oiled machine. Their main work is construction/renovations- and we would not hesitate to call them in if we had any need for it.

Whenever we have needed to have renos/repairs done to our home in the last 8 years we have checked Homestars for good, reliable, efficient and reasonably priced companies. We have used several of their services and have been satisfied with them all.

Since my last review of Hunter Hill we have had them do our main floor floors (fabulous), stairs, dining room ceiling and a total gut of our basement offices and bathroom. The basement had the old 70's cheap paneling, old trim, floors etc. We now have 3 wall of built in cupboards/drawers/desks. The unit was made into dual purpose- Main room-an office and kitchenette/living room and the other one an office /bedroom. Now we can have family & friends come and stay in a luxurious hideaway. The 3 pce bathroom is luxurious as well. We are so satisfied and pleased with the whole thing. Melina, Gary, Mark and Jason-good work team!

I have been dealing with M&M (Mike ) annually for 7 yrs. His firm always cleans the inside & outside of my 12 X 16 solarium. They always have done a very good job of it. This year they sent Gregory - he did an especially good job- he is a perfectionist! I love perfectionists! Am a bit of one myself. Touched up all the drips on the aluminum and really scrubbed the exterior roof where years of pollution gathers. The job took 3 1/2 hours and am very pleased with it.

We were looking for medium-end bathroom cabinet/sink, and various accessories for our basement bathroom. Some places were lovely but way too expensive- then there is boring Home Depot! We went into Tapworks to look around and Cheryl came to see how we were doing and asked if we needed help. Well after much advice and lots of fun we made our purchase. Pickup was arranged and expedited smoothly- All working at that store are friendly and helpful.

I use these guys every spring, mainly to clean the big solarium. I have no complaints about them and will be using their services again the coming year. I’ve already recommended them to a few of my friends, too. They’re great overall.

Melena Gibner, owner of Hunter Hill, contracted to reconfigure and renovate our 60 yr old bathroom. She & her staff did a beautiful job, with great fastidiousness and precision. We would not hesitate to refer her. She has 20 yrs experience and knowledge which was put to good use with some problems unearthed in our bathroom.

My neighbour used them for years. Stephen and his great staff took good care of him. I hired the firm last fall to dig out two huge old cedar bushes. This spring I had them edge all the beds, dig up & resod my boulevard and dig up my front beds. The guys all know what they are doing, the prices are reasonable and what they have accomplished looks great. They make good suggestions too- very helpful.

We had waited 10 months for our regular guy to come-he didnt so we looked up Homestars and called City Wide.The pres- Harry Cavan came immediately, checked it out and gave us a price which was more than the prev guys said(but didnt come). We said yes and he had his guys there in 2 days and it took them 3 1/2 days- beautiful job. Those 2 guys were amazing- little guys- so strong and hardworking- dug it all out by hand. Made a new window well out of 4x4 treated wood.Parging & 2 membranes plus weeping tile etc. Good job. We are satisfied.

Valentine & helper came in to change the fawcetts in the tub- had to go behind the wall and replace old pipe etc. They came on time, were pleasant, clean and thorough. Done 2 weeks ago- seems they did a good job

8 yrs ago we Had Loumerico do our bathtub. After 7+ yrs it started to wear. Last month we had them do it again as we are not ready to reno yet. It looks great! again! They did a beautiful, thorough job. Yes there is an aweful smell but it fades in a few days.. They were prompt and the boss Lou came to check up and inspect the job.

A very busy company, real nice people. Did a real good job, on time, cleaned up after themselves. Original quote was $1300 but they found they didnt need as much material as previously thought so they reduced the price to $1100.00
