It all started with a leak in my roof. I called 3 firms in HomeStars - 1 didn't respond, 1 gave me a quote over the phone, Gitano sent a rep out to actually look at the job. That led to a quick quote/confirmation of quote and agreement. Eventually I got a call that Gitano would be doing the job the next day. Everything was delivered on time, workmen showed up around 10 a.m. which I thought would mean they'd have to come back the next day to finish. My mistake; they had finished by 6 p.m. They cleaned up when they were finished and did a very good job. Very pleased with this experience. Neighbours love the look too!

We found out our hot water heater had gone belly up when I stepped into a pool of water in our basement late Wednesday afternoon. I called Biss (who had installed our boiler in 2008) about 630 that night. They answered the late call and promised to have someone out the next day (because I had managed to drain the tank and averted an emergency situation). In fact Sean, the owner, came before 10 o'clock Thursday morning, looked over the situation, made his recommendation (which I accepted) and set off to get the required materials. By 5 o'clock that night we had hot water again. Pretty damned good service if you ask me. Biss was courteous, helpful, punctual and did great work correcting a situation which, for me, was looking like it would be a big problem.

Our 60-year old chimney was about to fall down when Andy & James arrived to repair it. Within hours it was brand new and looking better than I've ever seen it, and the only evidence of the work was a few small non-consequential brick chips on the ground (if you knew where to look). The guys were very professional and worked quickly but were very friendly. Two tumbs-up in our books.
