AC Electrical re-wired my entire house and most importantly, they made it safe.

It was expected that the electrical costs were going to be high, so I spent a large portion of my time reviewing, researching and interviewing electrical contractors from Homestars. I probably talked to ten companies overall. I had companies who would come in, walk around my house, count light switches and outlets, and gave me an inflated quote on a piece of paper. Helen from AC Electrical came to my place and spend over an hour, going room by room, taking notes like crazy (I counted over 5 pages of detailed notes), and making recommendation of what should be up to code and what would be ideal for light placement. Once I hired them, every note that Helen took was on an Ipad for the electricians to review, down to every switch and outlet.

Since I work from home a lot, I pretty much lived with the electricians (Kyle and Steve) for almost three weeks. It was messy job in a rather small/mid size home built in 1922, with lots of plaster and old character. They had to do holes everywhere to run new wires and disconnect the knob and tube. I was amazed that they did “surgical” work to fish the wires and most importantly, minimize the damage to the walls. Every time they would leave, they left my place spotless (even better than before sometimes).

Every time I called the office, Genelle and Helen were wonderful to talk to and on the ball to schedule the electricians to come in. They never missed an appointment and if they were going to be late, they would call (which only happened once). Nick even came to my place after hours to help us position the pot lights in the main floor. We are getting lots of compliments.

AC Electrical came on top in terms of service and quality of work and their quote was very fair and competitive. They are my go to electricians in the neighbourhood.

I had the pleasure of having Kyle from AC Electrical come promptly to help me. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and helpful. The electrical outlets in one of our bedrooms were not working and Kyle assessed the situation and quickly figured out the problem. My outlets were working in no time and the cost was extremely reasonable and fair. I had other questions about my exterior electricity outlets and again Kyle was able to provide the answers needed. I would DEFINITELY hire AC Electrical again!

My elderly neighbours hydro was knocked out by a fallen tree branch during an exceptionally fierce windstorm. I called a handful of electrical contractors, AC Electrical was the only one who answered the phone. AC responded that same day, gave a quote, and began an extensive repair job the very next day. AC employees, Steve and Kyle, were friendly, professional, and prompt. In my life as a home owner, I like all of us have had driveways, eaves troughs, furnaces etc repaired and installed. Without a doubt, AC Electrical is the pearl of all companies I have previously dealt with. Without getting mushy, this is best company I have ever dealt with in my 58 years on this planet.

Boy did they come through. Wind storm yesterday ripped wires and broke the mast on my roof. Today, called AC in the morning. The work was done in the afternoon and hydro will be turned back on shortly Price was reasonable especially for an emergency and work was done very professionally. Thank you

I found AC Electrical to be prompt, professional, accessible, co-operative. they also provided excellent value. The company also participates in the ESA Authorized Contractor Program, and that simplifies things for the customer. I appreciate also that the office staff pick up the phone right away and are very much on the ball.

Steve went through the list of electrical problems we were experiencing in our newly-purchased, very old townhouse. Steve was equipped to repair everything and at a very reasonable price. Very happy and will call AC Electrical again.

Nick from AC Electrical completed an accumulated electrical "to do list" which had been growing for a few years.
It included installing under counter LED lights, a SENSE energy monitoring kit, a NEST learning thermostat and installing an upper hallway ceiling fan/light. Nick was very conscientious, tidy and efficient. Very responsive and the project was completed in a timely fashion. No hesitation in recommending Nick and AC Electrical.

Kyle was right on time for our appointment and had a thorough look through of the space and electrical outlets. He couldn't find the issue right away but wasn't going to stop until he resolved it. Turns out a second electrical panel was hidden away and he was able to reset the breaker and that fixed the outlets right away! He also had some good recommendations for making the area more accessible moving forward. Kyle was so friendly and knowledgeable and I would absolutely use AC Electrical again and recommend to friends!

AC Electrical's preliminary quote was complete based on the photos provided online/through email. During the home inspection, AC Electrical provided a thorough quote that was detailed and was essentially a match to the preliminary quotation. Other electrical contractors did not provide a a complete quote leaving out critical things like the ESA fee and Hydro shutoff fee. During the work, AC Electrical minimized the amount of holes in the drywall needed for the new dryer outlet. The holes to the drywall were strategically placed for ease of patching. In order to complete the work in one day, two electricians were on site and once the work was completed the invoice was as quoted. AC Electrical also cleaned up and took the time to chat and provide additional estimates for work I wanted to complete in the near future.
AC Electrical also gives you the choice to coordinate the hydro fees to avoid additional administrative fees. They also gave me the option to patch the holes myself in order to save the patch work fees.
I would recommend and would use them again.
