Reliance Home Comfort

we had the a/c installed in november 2011 at the same time as the furnace. the first time we had cause to use the a/c was in May this year. at that time the a/c did not cool our home so i called and a technician was sent out.
6 technician visits later and the a/c still does not cool our home!!
i have spoken to so many different people at reliance that i have begun to lose track of what thay are supposed to be doing!
my most recent conversation has been with the sales department and their representative, who i spoke to on monday, he said he would look into the issue and get back to me! i tried to speak to him on friday but he's not in the office so i guess it will be 7 days at least between contact.
i think i need to say to anyone thinking of purchasing from this company, "look everywhere else before you look at reliance"!!

Since I have a Carrier Infinity 96 Furnace installed by the Builder,I wanted
an air-conditioner,a humidifier,a air purifier and a Infinity control all by
Carrier to be installed.Reliance Sales Rep Rodney Schunker walked me
through all the details with the net result had all the items installed within
2 days.As for the installer -John Saliba- he is one of a kind,most helpful and
informative.It was a dream to have Reliance at Brampton to do the work
and definitely and highly reccommend them

The Reliance technician Adam W. maintenance service was very thorough. He was very knowledgeable with his craft, his work ethics was impeckable. He was very polite and explained the details of what was done. I would definately recommend Reliance and Adan to friends and family.

Paul C. (Emp. id # 1690) From Relinace home confort came to fix my Air-Condition as it was not working and not pushing any cold air. Paul was very professional, quick, and was able to resolve the problem with no time. He knew what he was doing and I really appreciated his service. Because of Paul I will defiantly stayed at Reliance or recommend a family member or friends.
Paul also recommended to me how to maintain the AC Machine true out the year and what to do if any problem should occur. He is well experience and I would defiantly ask for him again in future. Great Job Paul C.

I had signed up for Reliance's Home Comfort Plus Plan but was skeptical as to what kind of service I will get when I need one. I was very pleased with my entire dealing - from booking of the appointment to the final tune-up of our A/C. Our technician, Mike Zevallos, was extremely pleasent, knowledgable, and answered all our questions with a smile. Furthermore, he gave us some good tips on how to take care of our A/C unit and maintain it in a good condition. I would definitely recommend Mike as well as the Reliance Comfort Plus Plan.

My first Hi - vent hot water tank lasted 14 years and
was replaced 10 months ago. This tank was flooded out May 28/12 in Thunder Bay. It was drained, "cut loose" and moved outside by my furnace contractor, delivered back to Reliance office by my husband.
Guess what? The Inspection and closure fee was more than DOUBLED because this tank was only in stalled less than one year ago.This is not my fault. The price I was quoted was $80 which climbed to $226.
Thanks Reliance.Amanda at the call center told me there is nothing she can do about these charges. This is a money grab for flood victims in Thunder Bay.
Tim Bartz came to my door and stated that I would be charged $1000 for the flood damaged rental tank. Well that grew to $1469.
Beware.It can happen to you because it happened to me. Do not sign up for auto-withdrawal .Relaince makes it so expensive to get out from their grip that most will not.I am trying to.

I was highly reccomended by a very good tech that works for Reliance. I believe his name was Adam Walker. He suggested I turn in my 7 year old water tank for a new one with Reliance and update my venting to the new code.I'm glad I did it!! Water is so much hotter now, I'm up to go in my 8 year old home. He also gave me a free venting change and save me a few bucks on my monthly water bill.

I was very happy with the level of service I received from Reliance. I had a huge family gathering at the house that night and I woke up that day to find that the AC had stopped working.

I called in to get an AC service and they were able to send someone out later that day. The technician (Adam) did a great job and had me backup and running in no time. (I think it was maybe an hour). He was also refreshingly polite and courteous which in this day and age is very rare in the service industry. He was very forthcoming about what the problem was and fixed it quickly.

Thanks to Reliance and Adam for saving my family gathering (lord knows what an uncomfortable mother in law can do).

I would recommend them to anyone and if the rest of their techs are half as good as Adam was then you will have no problems.
