Brutal customer service and wrongly signed-up for a protection
I am a long-term Reliance water heater rental customer. I scheduled a one off 12-point furnace inspection even though my furnace is working fine. After the call, the technician (who was good) asked if I would like to receive information on their protection plans. Later that day I received confirmation via email suggesting that I had set-up a System Protection Plus Maintenance Plan for $29.99/HST/mo. This was from a no-reply email address. Fast forward.... It took me two calls, three different departments and over 2-hours of my time to cancel a service I never signed-up for. This is just one example of very poor recent service.
