I recently renovated my entire kitchen and went to Select for my granite coutertops. The entire experience with this company was exceptional. This is how I would break it down:

1) The stone: The granite counters at Select were thicker then any other place I looked. They have a variety of colours and many different edging options. Be aware - not all of the colours are on the website because they constantly get new shipments in from all over the world. My "Grey Steel" was not on the webstie.

2) Service

I dealt with Jan who could not be more helpful. She explained the different types of granite to me, gave helpful advice on colours, and provided my with a bunch of samples to take home to test. In fact, I changed colour schemes three times and went back to get more samples and she never had a problem with that. Select will take you onto the factory floor so you can see the entire piece of rock (and not just small samples). This is helpful to see all of the intricacies of the stone.

When Select makes an appointment with you to either measure your kitchen or come to install, they keep that appointment. I even got heads up calls from select about 1 hour before they came to my place.

The installation was also excellent. Because of the size of my kitchen, I required two seams on the counter. Arthur did such a wonderful job, you wont be able to tell where the seam is!

Overall, its a wonderful run company with excellent product. My only regret is that I didn't go to them first and save myself the headache of going to the other places.

When we moved into our brand new Condo, we were faced with what we thought, was a difficult project:
How to add at least seven feet of granite countertop space on top of newly installed cabinets. The new granite would not only have to butt up against the present granite countertop,but have to match the color of the present granite. To add to the problem, we were not sure the wall behind the counter was straight. Never mind, this did not seem to present a challenge to the installers. The work went quickly, cleanly and smoothly
We were thrilled with the final results.
Our friends claimed they did not realize that the kitchen counter "didn't come that way".

I am building a new house and required Kitchen and Bathroom granite counter tops. My wife and I went to all the home shows in Toronto and really did a lot of research before purchasing. Select Granite kept coming up as the top choice. We recently purchased our counter tops from Select. They were extremely helpful and had a wide variety of granite in stock. My home was about 75 miles north of their warehouse, but they had no issues with sending a technician to my home for measuring and within a week, they sent 2 tradesmen to install. We couldn't be happier with the final results. The installation was fast, efficient and all seams are virtually invisible. Their granite is also 1 1/4" thick, compared to most suppliers 3/4" thick stock. All staff involved were both courteous and professional. I highly recommend Select Granite Tops and thank them for the help and great service.

Our experience with Select Granite Tops was exceptional. From choosing our slab, to a representative coming to measure, and the installers finishing the project. Jan and Frank were very honest and helpful and there was no issue with the slab we chose or the installation. The material was finished completely and fit perfectly in the kitchen and bathrooms. I'm an interior decorator/designer in the GTA and Select has done a least 5 counter tops and one granite slab floor for me in the past year. All of my clients have been extremely happy with their professionalism and customer service, not to mention the finished product. If you are selecting from their stone you have a choice of products that are 1 1/4" in thickness which eliminates the need for a built up edge and a seam, plus your counter is much stronger. They have many samples to choose from or will use slabs that are selected from other suppliers. They are very co-operative and provide samples which allows you to see the actual stone in the surroundings that it will be used. I love working with them and will continue to in the future.

Needed to change a dark and dated wood cabinet kitchen. Painted the cabinets white and had Select Granite install the granite counter top. What a great transformation. People at Select were very helpful and professional. Quality was impeccable as was the price. Even included an undermount sink. Thank you Select!
