I am an Interior Decorator and recently completed a kitchen renovation. My client asked me to check out Select Granite for countertops as it had been highly recommended to them. I am always looking for great resources to add to my 'go to' list so I was happy to learn of them. I am happier still, now that I have experienced working with Select Granite and have enthusiastically added them to my list!
Jan in the showroom was just great to work with! She was very helpful, and knowledgeable and provided quick, detailed replies to all of my questions which made the process from first contact to order and install very smooth. The team that measured and fitted the tops were professional and efficient.
The end result is a very happy client with a beautiful, new Caesarstone countertop and a decorator who will happily source from Select Granite again!
The only slight negative that I would note is that credit cards are not accepted. It would be a plus if they were but that is not something that would keep me from comfortably and confidently using Select Granite again.

I was relieved that this man was so man helpful. He helped me choose something suitable for our new home. We are going to come back again when we do some more renos!

I renovated my kitchen and guest bathroom last summer and was referred to Select Granite by my contractor. I had shopped around a little before visiting.

From the beginning, the experience at SG was exceptional. Jan was so helpful and knowledgeable about the different products and their care. She walked me through the warehouse, which I didn't expect, so that I could get an idea of what large pieces would look like. I had brought small cabinet doors with me and she helped me pick out several countertop samples that would blend. To ensure I was making the right decision, I visited several more times to try different samples and I was always made to feel welcomed. For my guest bathroom, Jan recommended a beautiful piece of premium marble that she had a limited supply of for a very reasonable price.

The person who came to measure the countertops pointed out that the kitchen faucet I had purchased (elsewhere) wouldn't work as my shutters presented an obstruction, which I hadn't thought of. This enabled me to prevent a mistake.

The installation process was timely, professional and clean. Andrew's attention to detail and the information he shared while he worked made it evident that he took a great deal of pride in his work.

In all, the quality of the materials, the workmanship, the competitive pricing and the attitudes of everyone I dealt with at Select Granite was excellent and I highly recommend them. In fact, I am so pleased with the results, that I have just contracted them again to do the countertops for my 3 upstairs bathrooms!

Not in our wildest dreams did we imagine that renovations of our very small kitchen would take six months, but with one contractor walking off the job and cabinetmakers disappearing when more lucrative projects came their way, that's exactly what happened. Luckily, there was Select Granite Tops. They were one of the only bright lights in our kitchen renovation horror story.

Our first contact with Select Granite Tops was with Jan. From the very beginning, she impressed us with her efficiency, prompt replies to our always querying e-mails, information, advice, answers — all offered with humour and understanding of our situation.

Andrew, our installer, was amazing. His work was outstanding and, equally important, he was prompt, respectful, patient, knowledgeable, accommodating, an amazing teacher to the guys he was training, and a great problem solver (something that was needed when he realized that the finished countertop did not quite match the template).

From start to finish, our relationship with Select Granite Tops was marked by outstanding customer service and a true dedication to making sure their customers are happy with their work. To top it off, their quote was the lowest of the three quotes we received. Even if they had been more expensive, they would have been worth it. Getting a beautiful countertop and being treated so well would have been worth the price.

Jan in the front office was awesome to work with. She patiently answered all the questions an inexperienced customer could think of.

Shopping around for granite or quartz counters can be very overwhelming and frustrating given the variability in pricing, service (both pre and post fabrication/installation), and craftsmanship. Customer service is key! Prior to approaching Select I had visited half a dozen other fabricators who all dealt with the same suppliers. Pricing was all over the map and perceived willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an outstanding product was questionable. I stumbled upon Select and my first interaction was with Jan. Jan was nothing short of customer focused and committed to the customer experience. She provided several large size samples to take home and review in my space with lighting, cabinetry, paint colours, etc. After deciding to go with Select, scheduling the templating process was straight forward. That said, the gentlemen who took the measurements had to come out a second time as there was an issue with the original template. They showed up on time on both occasions. Select uses 1 1/4" material which looks great. However, the thickness can vary slightly from 1 1/4". I recommend tagging your slab if you identify one that you like. This will help ensure that you are not disappointed with the selection when you go back. I say this from experience as one of the reasons why I chose Select was because they had a particular slab of the material I wanted which was outstanding and very unusual vs. what I had seen at other fabricators/suppliers. When I went back, even though it was my understanding that the slab I had seen was typical of the batch they had, not only was the slab gone but the other slabs in the batch were considerably different and less appealing. This appeared to be an oversight on their part as I think it should have been communicated clearly to me that the slabs in the batch varied and did not all possess the qualities of the slab I saw. The gentlemen who measured were those who installed. I like this approach as it places some degree of ownership on them and the ease of installation providing that the measurements were accurate. Fabrication and adherence to the template is the other variable in this equation. The installers took approximately 7 hours to complete the install. They were very detail oriented and walked/talked me through the process as they moved from one stage of the install to the next. The installers were great!! Overall, Select was not the cheapest of the fabricators I visited and nor were they the most expensive. I would recommend their shop to others. The counter looks amazing in large part to the type of granite chosen but in part to their fabrication expertise. Regrettably, I also wanted to arrange for a matching work top/cutting board made with the sink cutout which is typically wastage, however, the pricing was not favourable for something I hoped would be regarded as a goodwill gesture. If you're in the market for a new counter, give Select a chance to earn your business - you won't be disappointed.

When we decided to reno our kitchen counters, we didn't think green granite would be such a hard find! But we wound up searching far and wide, before we happened upon Select Granite Tops. Their fantastic staff hinted they may have just what we were looking for, and didn't disappoint! They led us through the warehouse and unveiled Verde Italia, a dark green and white granite that was more beautiful than we could've imagined! So too, was the rest of their inventory, and we further purchased a new countertop for our powder room! Our chosen slabs were cut with the utmost care, ensuring to capture the granite's natural character. The installation was done in a timely and professional manner, for both the countertops and new sinks we had also bought.

From start to finish, Select Granite Tops provided us with outstanding service and exceptional results that far exceeded our expectations!
