M And M Movers

We hired M & M Moving after comparing them to a few companies. Brent the owner said his Business Partner Abbas could take apart and put back together the electronics in my house and disassemble and assemble my universal gym. Several movers said they couldn't do this and they were charging significantly more for their "services". Abbas and his crew were great! Did everything on time and very professionally, we saved hundred's of dollars and have hired them again for another move in June. Lisa and Jeff in Toronto

We moved from Toronto to Waterloo Ontario. The movers were great! We have told several people about M & M Moving, everything was moved without damage and the final price was very reasonable. Keep up the good work M & M Sue in Waterloo

We hired M & M Moving for our move in Milton. We were moving on the day of closing so everything had to be on time because of the closing. 2 large trucks and 5 great men showed up, Mo the lead man was terrific. The house we were moving into had hired Atlas Van Lines instead of M & M Moving. Atlas misjudged the size of their move and had to get another truck to come out creating a delay for everybody. We were very pleased with Brent and M & M , they saved us money from a large mover and were great! Nancy and Roger in Milton

After talking to a few past clients of M & M Moving, we decided to hire them. Mo and his team were great! They showed up on time and were very kind to our things (and both homes). They worked quickly and very hard, I think the whole move took about 9 hours as estimated. At one point I accidentally packed something I needed and boarded the truck. I was amazed at how tightly they had everything packed. I gave up right then and there on the thing I was looking for. Anyway, a fine job, nothing was lost or broken, and the item we had called Brent about that we were looking for once the move was completed? We found it. The guys had shrink-wrapped a cabinet and put it inside for safe-keeping. Thanks again, Kim and Gabe in Toronto

We had a difficult move in that the closing date kept changing. It ended up being between Christmas and New Year. M&M Movers totally accomodated us, showing up early and were very efficient and quick at moving everything. They were done very quickly and were friendly and courteous.

Wow! Brent the owner contacted us from the mls listings, he came out and gave us a guaranteed quote. I was very nervous about some large furniture upstairs that other movers told me to sell because it was too difficult to move. Abbas Brent's Business partner and his crew moved this furniture quickly and efficiently, everything was moved without any damage at all! I have told my Real Estate agent that she need's to know about these guy's. I can see why Brent was ranked the top mover in the g.t.a. by Royal Lepage with a customer satisfaction rate of 92%. Brent keep on getting people to do write ups, this way the people who complain unjustly will be put into context. Thanks again Bonnie and Alan

This is a company to avoid. Promises wer broken, No wardrobe boxes (all clothing was wrapped in moving blankets) I shipped a lot of my own things in a borrowed mini van. Brent does not follow up or deliver on promises. I needed at least a 48' tractor trailer to deliver and he said two straight trucks is more efficient. On moving day we had only a straight truck and a cube van on the way.

Brent was also looking for about 40% for a down payment to secure the truck? I guess if you do not own any vehicles you must rent them and you need your customers deposits to do so. I told him that I was not pleased with the 400.00 deposit and talked to my solictor and that set Brent off into a rant like others have said about him.

As well Brent said any time we neede d boxes to either call or visit the office. I called about a week before our move and he said that they would not have any boxes for about a week and a half? Not a response you expect from a company that is dealing in boxes day in and day out.

When he did have boxes they were from M & M Meats, I guess he thinks if people see the M & M part of the label it will suggest that they are so professional that you would not notice it is boxes for puff pastry.

I do not know if Brent will respond to this like some of the others but if he does it will be his typical twist on things.

Movers came shortly after the scheduled time. They were very patient when they had to move their truck 3 times for cars to get out of the lane. They provided portable clothes closets although one of them had seen better days. The truck was loaded in time and arrived at the new location just ahead of the scheduled time slot for the elevator. They waited patiently until we were able to get possession of the elevator (from other movers who were behind schedule). Everything was done efficiently and carefully. The original quote was under the final cost by $57.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Brent is a good salesman. That's where all the "good" stops. Unbelievably bad move. When I complained, Brent became a psycopath towards me with threats and bizarre accusations that I am responsible for children dying all over the world. He began calling himself "Brent the Preacher". My move wasn't completed, and although I paid top dollar I never got back a cent in compensation. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND HIS COMPANY. His website is full of twisted truths. His movers aren't staff of M&M Moving - they're guys in a truck who called me a "f**ing woman". I cannot type enough bad things about M&M Moving and Brent.
