We had Canadian Railings install all the exterior railings for the front and back porch along with two interios stairs which included wood hand rails and metal pickets. The sales person Nino and his installers came multiple times to the site for measurements before fabrication and carrying out the installation. My wife and I went to the Canadian Railing shoroom and chose all the material and the colur we wanted for the railings. The price we where quoted was the price we paid upon completion of the work. We are so satisfied with the company that since they also install glass shower enclosures and doors we will have this work done from this company.

Balcony Railings

Took almost one year for them to secure a glass divider on the balcony. A few neighbours also had their glass fall during a wind storm at the end of May in 2022. They never put brackets to secure the glass.

They do not respect your time. I have taken days off work to accommodate their schedules. As of May, they have:

1. Sent three people to look at the glass because for some reason they do not know what was wrong after each of their assessments.
2. I have sent pictures of the glass divider in September because they do not know what was the issue. (They told me something needs to be cut after seeing the pictures.)
3. Two people came December 21 to try to fix it but did nothing because they said the issue was the glass is too small.
4. A scheduled booking was cancelled in January because they said one of the glass shattered on shipping.
5. No updates on when the glass is ready until I called.
6. In February, there was at least three cancellations because of bad weather.
7. A no show in March.
8. A no show in April.

Time after time, it was excuses after excuses. The excuse of the broken glass on shipment followed by their glass supplier having issues accounted for almost two months. In the end, they did not even change the glass. They just put brackets on. This is by far the worst company I have dealt with!

Railing

The absolute worst customer service experience ever. Had to deal with a guy named Denny who claimed to run the show and knew our contractor. For someone running the place he’s never at work or responding to calls or emails. Would not recommend until someone else is in charge.

Shoddy Workmanship

My contractor recommended Canadian Railings. We met at their facility and chose a railing for our home. They gave us an installation date, which they failed to honour--they delivered a month later. The railing was nothing like the example we saw in the shop--it was damaged and bent out of shape. The coat of paint was bubbling and the surface was chipped. The owner refused to replace it; instead, he insisted on "fixing" it. Another month went by and when they brought the railing, the paint job was substandard.
Run--don't walk from this unethical company. They don't stand behind their product; there is no quality control or accountability.

railings

The original written agreement was approximately $9000. When my wife asked that the height of the railings be specified on the agreement, the manager and a staff did not allow my wife to leave his office, took the agreement in her hands by force, and changed the price to $16000.

New Railing

This company was the one single WORST company we dealt with from a service perspective during our entire 3 month whole-house renovation project. Individial customers are apparently way down on this company's list of priorities. We litterally had to call EVERY day and drive out to the company at least FIVE times to harrass the salesperson and the production manager to get our project done. Ultimately, the work did get done and the company does offer good value BUT not sure the headache was worth it.

$2,000.00
