Northview Windows & Doors

Poor job fitting and sealing. Front door not level---gaping drafts---cant get anything done---take forever to come out once they were paid---manufacturers defect on a front window ---took it apart to add insulation and left damage on paint and seal---took forever to get someone out to look---then they never respond to come out to deal with these things. Lousy customer service.

We purchased doors for the front and back of the house; the doors were installed April 2014, only one person came to install the doors, I would have expected that it's at least a two person job. Within a week the brick mouldings came apart and were hanging away from the door frame with nails exposed. It took five months for the brick moulds to be fixed but whatever the installer did he caused the doors to be misaligned, there are now gaps in the doors. Another six months later a different installer came and we were told that the doors were not installed correctly, new parts will need to be order. TWENTY MONTHS after the doors were installed we are still waiting for the repairs to be done. Due to the substandard installation we now have water damage in the back doors, water was flooding into the house during an August 2015 rain storm.

Anatoliy came to the house and walked through everything I needed to know so that I could make an informed decision. He was patient and well informed. After comparing 4 different companies, I went with Northview. They were the 2nd most affordable but also seemed to have the best designed windows. They also quoted on all of my windows but made the quote valid for 2 years so that I could do them at my own pace and within my own budget restrictions.

After the contract was signed, Roman came by, re-measured, and discussed interior trim designs. They manufactured the windows in about a month, we set up an installation date, and they phoned with a reminder a few days before.

Installation went without a hitch. Roman was a true professional - always polite, conscientious, and a very neat worker.

The finished job was perfect. I will be ordering more windows from the Northview team in the spring!! Thank you!!

The windows look good, they cleaned up well after themselves, stayed on task and worked very hard. As I was preparing to paint the window frames inside I discovered they had hacked up the wooden part of the frame where the windows sit very badly. This will take a lot to fix.

I honestly have no complaints about the brand new window Northview installed in my home. Dealing with them was a good experience all around and everyone did a great job.

Northview replaced all of the windows in our home and they did very a good job of it. The only thing is I was told by the salesman that he was going to come by to see that everything was done properly and then he never showed up. We were not impressed and I would give them a perfect rating except they didn’t keep their word.

We called Northview after seeing the windows they did on a neighbour’s house. They did a very good job for us but now we’ve got a faulty living room window so we’re probably going to be calling back and getting some service. However, every time we’ve had an issue they’ve come back and fixed it no problem and it’s just a bent part.

I’ve worked with Vladimir from Northview over the last eight years and I’m really happy with the work that’s been done. Recently they replaced my front door, back door, upstairs window and kitchen window. The job was really well done and I’m very happy with it. The screen door outside has given me some trouble and they’ve returned to fix it but it still doesn’t seem to be working right. Other than that they are great.
