Tim promised to install in 3-4 weeks in Feb 2022. It's June 2022. Patiently waited and accommodated on all changed dates. 18 weeks still no door. The only thing I got is a new date and then a new date and then a new date and then a new date. Have been asking for a refund. Stay away. I consider people putting positive reviews lucky as I am having a hard time getting my door installed or my money refunded. Paid $600 through intrac

COMPANY/TIM response is irrelevant; He is not interested in resolving the issue as just sent one text about the review with no confirmation for installation or refund.

Tim was great to deal with, easy to communicate with and provided great work. Really happy with the new door. I would highly recommend Tim.

Tim at Speedy Overhead is totally unreliable, he failed to even start on the job. Back on September 05, 2021, he took the deposit and promised to install the doors in 4 to 6 weeks, and he made an excuse at the end of October about Covid parts shortage etc. We agreed to do it in the 2022 spring since I wanted to do the job in warmer weather.
In March he set the new date and didnt show up, then he promised 2 more times and he cancelled last minute twice, he made excuses that my family have an issue etc. he made 2 more appointments in April and cancelled again, in total 7 times he cancelled, I was fed up with him and asked him to refund my money, he gave me a hell of trouble and finally, I was going to the court to file the complaint and finally he refunded the money on May 30th, 2022 thanks to home star website.
I am in the process to hire someone else to install the doors and now about 15% cost has increased, and I have no choice but to bear the cost. I lost about a 10-month time period and numerous hours 500+ messages and finally successfully got my refund from him.
Mr. Tim is not an honest person, nor he is reliable, be careful and DO NOT give him your deposit at all. He took $1500 dollars from one of my friends and he is not replying to his messages. This was a commercial job supposed to be done by May 10th & today is June 19th and he is not replying to his messages. My friends lawyer will soon send him the papers and file the motion against him in a small court.

Tim failed to even start on the job. He continued to reschedule saying he's sick, then he's very sick in bed again, and he's behind on other installs, etc. He refuses to give us back the deposit, stating it is his right to hold on to our deposit for 30 days, where the Ontario Consumers Protection clearly states 15 days. He continued to state that now he needs to figure out what to do with our door since we no longer want it. We gave our deposit back in October 19 promised within 8 weeks install.

Tim contacted me and said the job will be done by next week Tuesday or Wednesday.. . Well Wednesday came and the door didn't reached. Now been told it'll get done on Saturday. Well Saturday came and one ... Was told Wednesday same thing and was told Saturday again.. and then Monday... Still hasn't been done, been asking for my money back, haven't been refunded yet.. Today was it'll get done by the weekend. I asked for the money back again which he don't want to refund ..btw he took deposit from my next door neighbor too. He is still waiting like me..

Tim at Speedy Overhead again did such an amazing job on the garage doors we had installed. This time my inlaws got their doors replaced by Tim. We have used Speedy Overhead for many many years. We knew when we ordered our doors it would take a while as supply chain for many manufacturers are short on supply. We were not worried as we have been working with Tim for years and know he is trustworthy and will keep in touch with us and keep us updated.
We weren't going to have Tim come out in freezing cold weather. We told him once the weather is better we will get it done and thats what we did. My inlaws love their new doors and so glad they waited for nice weather to have them done.
I don't understand any of these other negative reviews. They sure don't sound legit. Sounds like competition trying to tarnish his business.

Like I have said we have used Tim at Speedy for many years for many friends and family and no one has ever had a bad thing to say.

We have always referred Speedy Overhead and will continue to do so.

Tim never shows up and just gives excuses. He took my deposit and never completed the install. He promised 6 weeks, it's now 7 months later with no door. Keeps promising he'll show up and never does. Promises to refund my deposit and never does. Do not use this guy. No way would I use him, you shouldn't either. He still has my money and refuses to complete the work or refund my depost.

Promise and contract writing 8 wks install, its been 21 and same as everyone else’s issues, l1e after l1e. I’ve lost money on real estate deals, storage, days off and sleepless nights.
Refund deposit after 21 wks doesn’t work!(just offer) don’t know if id get it yet.
Someone has to do something about this business!!!!

Tim took my deposit and then gave me excuse after excuse for over a year, (COVID, back-order, family issue, rain, to hot...etc). My first installation date required me to take a day off work, remove two shelves in the garage and all the gear on them. He never showed and never called to apologize. I was the one calling him, not the other way around during this time frame. Stay away.

Ordered doors in Feb 2021 with deposit, Told June 1 the doors have not been ordered yet. He put a rush on the doors, I had to call the manufacturer to find out the doors are in on Nov 2, Dec 7 first install date, 4 install dates later they are not installed, cancelled the day of the install each time, had to take days off work for nothing. The last cancellation was because he double booked me ... but i have been waiting longer, why did the other guy get his installed? Feb 4, 2022 still waiting for install. Will update when i get the install. Final update, several more cancellations after Feb 4, finally installed Feb 26. Nice install job, but was it worth the headache? You can make your own decision. I am in my 50's and this was the worst purchase of anything in my entire life, would i do it again, NO.
