Tim failed to even start on the job. He continued to reschedule saying he's sick, then he's very sick in bed again, and he's behind on other installs, etc. He refuses to give us back the deposit, stating it is his right to hold on to our deposit for 30 days, where the Ontario Consumers Protection clearly states 15 days. He continued to state that now he needs to figure out what to do with our door since we no longer want it. We gave our deposit back in October 19 promised within 8 weeks install.

Not sure how i came across a rude?
We always wanted to install the door for you guys which is why we are now stuck with the materials that we special ordered for your home. I tried to work with you but you were more interested in getting a discount on a price that was already more than fair. Once you were told we were not able to give a discount your proceeded to cancel the order and attempt to defame my business online which is not appreciated. Its also important to note all garage door manufacturers have been dealing with rapid price increases and supply chain disruptions for the last year so its not uncommon for delivery times to be severely impacted on custom doors.
