This company responded quickly to a Home Stars search. One of the principals, - Matt- came to the site, was courteous, and gave a reasonable quote. They were able to complete the demolition job thoroughly, quickly, and to my surprise left my property spotless. Matt brought a no nonsense, professional and hard working crew to this job. This is one of the few occasions where I have ever been completely satisfied with the work of a contractor or trade.

I found the company from Home Star for my driveway repair and resurfacing in summer 2023. The job was left unfinished citing weather reasons. By early 2024 the repair and the top layer started to peel off badly. I contacted the owner Matt who promised that they would come back to get it done in summer time. After more follow ups, Matt and his team came back in September, power washed the chips, and applied 2 more top layers of granite grip. Matt also advised they wod address any further issues down the road.

A Cautionary Tale I hired The Right Way Foundations based on the seemingly positive reviews, but my experience was nothing short of a disaster. I engaged Matt and Joel to complete several tasks: painting kitchen cabinets, ceilings in two rooms, walls in two rooms and the kitchen, and sanding and staining the deck. What I received was a nightmare. Kitchen Cabinets: The cabinets were supposed to be painted white, but instead, they were covered in yellow stains, with visible roller marks all over. The finish was sloppy and unprofessional. Ceiling: Despite multiple attempts, Matt and Joel couldn't properly paint the ceiling. They kept promising they could fix it, but every attempt made it worse. After four failed attempts, they left, blaming the issues on humidity in my house. I had to hire someone else to redo the ceiling entirely. Wall Painting: The walls were poorly painted as well, with overlapping paint on the ceilings and walls, uneven lines by the baseboards, and paint drips on adjacent walls. It was a mess. Deck: Instead of sanding the deck as agreed, they opted to power wash it and then paint it. The wooden planks were chipped, and I specifically told them to sand it first. They assured me they would but didnt. Now, the deck is so rough that walking barefoot is out of the questionyou risk getting splinters. When I reached out to Matt to express my dissatisfaction, he was dismissive and blamed the poor quality of work on the "humidity" in my house. He even suggested that my cooking caused the yellow stains on the cabinets, despite the fact that my family wasnt home during that time. When I asked for a refund to cover the cost of fixing their mess, I was met with excuses. In the end, this experience has cost me more time, money, and stress than I ever anticipated. If you value quality and professionalism, I strongly urge you to stay away from GTA Painting. They don't know what they are doing and will leave you with a bigger problem than you started with. Save yourself the headache and find someone else!

This company was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint. Matt and his team were friendly, accommodating and reasonable. He brought by several samples of stone, wasn't pushy and really worked to support our budget. I would definitely use them again.

We had an outdated backyard and needed a bit of a refresh. We had some friends over and they mentioned they had hired the right way before. We reached out to them and within a couple days they were able to give us an estimate. They did not pressure us and had great ideas so we chose them do handle our project. They were fair, punctual and their entire team came with great energy. We had a great experience with this company and would hire them again.

Matt and team were able to help us within a short time frame. They were efficient and prompt with communications throughout the project. Matt takes feedback very seriously and works hard to ensure the customer is satisfied. Overall, we had a positive experience with this company!

Matt and Joel were great to work with to complete our project on a tight timeline. They came and completed the work in 5 days coming on the weekend so we could complete the project before our deadline. We appreciated their quick turnaround and responsiveness.

Matt, Joel and their team did a great job for us. They worked diligently and we were very impressed with their frequent communication with us and their strong work ethic. Even when we were faced with some unexpected challenges, they quickly acknowledged our concerns and rectified issues immediately, resulting in an excellent work/project completion. We still have a couple of small additions to make to the project, but have no doubt that once done, the entire work that we planned will be to more than our satisfaction. We have had such a great experience working with the right way foundations. We had a terrible fire happen and we had to get our whole garage and front of our house redone. They removed all the old brick and offered to install stone to give a us a change so we could change the look after the tragedy. We are so happy with the new look and had an amazing time working with them. They went above and beyond and left us so happy with the final product.

We had known Joel from work he had done for us in Ottawa. He had just called to check up on us and see everything if was holding up. He let us know he had actually moved to Toronto to expand into bigger things. We then immediately brought up how we own properties in Toronto and we were desperately searching for someone to help us maintain them since we are living out of town. he was quick to help us and actually went to our rental immediately. he was able to provide us with a fair price and he completed the work with his team.

our new entrance is safe and looks beautiful we have already had excellent feedback from our tenants. Joel always maintains great communication and we are happy to work with him.
