Jamal Issa Carpentry

Jamal is an incredibly professional and meticulous craftsperson. He worked with us to design a new front porch and provided great options for a few challenges that came up (old cement blocks underneath, etc). The site was left tidy every day and he did a thorough clean up at the end. His quote was fair (we chose to use composite decking which increased our costs) and his billing was transparent. I would highly recommend Jamal for any carpentry project you may have. Several people walking by asked for his name and card.

Jamal is one of those people that one is lucky to find. We had him build 3 raised decks on the back of the house. They are pieces of art. We used composite decking in a two tone style. He did a great job on it. He knew exactly how to do it without hesitation. He built three sets of stairs. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
By the way, we bought the material and he did the labour.

Jamals work was of a high standard - meticulous repair of rotting wood in need of repair. He demonstrated skill and creativity attending to the unique concerns of a 1939 character house. Jamal was always on time and very efficient. He cleaned up after himself. Reasonable price. Jamal was very courteous and personable. We were very impressed.

Grade A workmanship! Professional, meticulous, courteous and trustworthy! Jamal was hired to frame my 600sq addition. He built what is now a dream home. Passed the City inspection at first glance. Everything was as per specs and extremely well done. He did such an amazing job that I hired him for several other tasks afterwards and had him work on multiple projects through a 6 month period. So trustworthy that he had full access to my home and garage, I gave him his set of keys. I didn't have to check up on his work. That's gold in my opinion to have that peace of mind. You would be making a mistake not hiring him.
